I explore Surah XXXI of the Koran (Luqman), and delineate some of the major soteriological differences between Islam and Christianity.
Well for one thing, God is love.
Allah...quite the opposite.
Easy - one commands His followers to love their enemies, the other commands his followers to kill them.
God has a Son. At least for Christians. Jesus Christ the Lord.
Allah does not (Koran).
O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) an apostle of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His apostles. Say not “Trinity” : desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is one Allah. Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. Serious question: What does Islam and the Koran say about the Holy Spirit?
Islam is an “experiential religion”...by that, it means that they don’t so much read the Koran to find wisdom, but they “experience” with their feelings. Basically, Islam is what their strongest representative says it is. In the Dark Ages, you had enlightened Muslim leaders who valued science and math. Today, it’s led by power hungry idiots who think they can bring back the glories of the Caliphate of the middle ages.
Now there is a question!
God is God. Allah is a demonic imposter. Allah was “revealed” to Mohammed by a Jinn (genie), which is, in fact, a demon.
IMO. Islam is the false religion spoken of in Revelation.

The phony “holy” book called the Koran denies that God had a son. Unfortunately Allah had three daughters, al-Usa, al-lat and Manat.(Have ye thought upon al-Lat and al-Uzza And Manat, the third, the other? (53:19,20)) It is a nut case, just as was the epileptic, murderer, thief, adulterer, and child rapist Mahomet.
God is the GREAT I AM. HE was, is and will forever be.
Allah is just some created, dreamed-up, little piss-ant god that came out of Baal and Moloch worship of old....ie: a form of satanism.

You may have forgotten “...or die trying and get rewarded in the after life with your virgins.”
Two things come immediately into view:
1. The “God of Islam” is vengeful and murderous.
2. Would a heaven meant to please and reward make sex the only positive reward? If so, that would bear a striking resemblance to hell rather than heaven with flesh rewards rather than grace.

No doubt, a denial of the Deity of the Holy Spirit as well.
Christians view the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit as different aspects of the same God. In Islam this is blasphemous, however. If Allah wants something said or done, he orders his Angels to do it. He’s more akin to a slave owner than a spiritual father.
Here’s your answer
In Islam, the Holy Spirit is not the same as in Christianity. In Islam, the Holy Spirit is from Allah but is more like his breath. It is not self-aware. That is why Islam teaches that the Holy Spirit strengthened Jesus as well as others and that the Spirit of God was breathed into Adam and Mary. In Christianity, the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. But Islam denies the Trinity and therefore says the Holy Spirit is a force, a presence.

Surah 16:102, “Say, the Holy Spirit has brought the revelation from thy Lord in Truth, in order to strengthen those who believe, and as a Guide and Glad Tidings to Muslims.”
Strengthened Jesus
Surah 2:87, “We gave Moses the Book and followed him up with a succession of apostles; We gave Jesus the son of Mary Clear (Signs) and strengthened him with the holy spirit. Is it that whenever there comes to you an apostle with what ye yourselves desire not, ye are puffed up with pride?—Some ye called impostors, and others ye slay!”
Surah 2:253, “ Those apostles We endowed with gifts, some above others: To one of them Allah spoke; others He raised to degrees (of honour); to Jesus the son of Mary We gave clear (Signs), and strengthened him with the holy spirit. If Allah had so willed, succeeding generations would not have fought among each other, after clear (Signs) had come to them, but they (chose) to wrangle, some believing and others rejecting. If Allah had so willed, they would not have fought each other; but Allah Fulfilleth His plan.”
Surah 5:110, “Then will Allah say: “O Jesus the son of Mary! Recount My favour to thee and to thy mother. Behold! I strengthened thee with the holy spirit, so that thou didst speak to the people in childhood and in maturity....”
Strengthens others
Surah 58:22, “Thou wilt not find any people who believe in Allah and the Last Day, loving those who resist Allah and His Apostle, even though they were their fathers or their sons, or their brothers, or their kindred. For such He has written Faith in their hearts, and strengthened them with a spirit from Himself.. And He will admit them to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, to dwell therein (for ever). Allah will be well pleased with them, and they with Him. They are the Party of Allah. Truly it is the Party of Allah that will achieve Felicity.
Spirit of God
Breathed into Adam
Surah 38:72, “When I have fashioned him [Adam] (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him.”
Surah 15:29, “When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him.”
Breathed into Man
Surah 32:9, “But He fashioned him in due proportion, and breathed into him something of His spirit. And He gave you (the faculties of) hearing and sight and feeling (and understanding): little thanks do ye give!”
Breathed into Mary to make Jesus
Surah 21:91, “And (remember) her who guarded her chastity: We breathed into her of Our spirit, and We made her and her son a sign for all peoples.
Surah 66:12, “And Mary the daughter of ‘Imran, who guarded her chastity; and We breathed into (her body) of Our spirit; and she testified to the truth of the words of her Lord and of His Revelations, and was one of the devout (servants).”
Spirit of Inspiration
Surah 40:15, “Raised high above ranks (or degrees), (He is) the Lord of the Throne (of Authority): by His Command doth He send the Spirit (of inspiration) to any of His servants he pleases, , that it may warn (men) of the Day of Mutual Meeting.”
There is no Allah.... there can only be one God .. the great “I am that I am”...He declares.
Let me give the next verse:
23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
Muslims do not have God the Father. They don't have God.
Any religion which denies Jesus Christ does not have have God, because Jesus is God.
