God in Heaven, we gather here today to bring you praise and thanksgiving for what you are doing in this nation and the domino effect it is having worldwide. Your Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. Give us supernatural understanding that we may be better equipped to do your will. Open the eyes and ears and soften the hearts of the people so they will be receptive to your truth.

Thank you for exposing the evil that has been running rampant for far too long. We take the authority you have given us through salvation and in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth we stand against the evil spirits of lying and deception, of abortion and infanticide, of chaos and confusion, of lust and sexual immorality, and of greed and pride.

Father, we ask for protection for our President, Vice President and all those who are fighting against your enemies. Lord, we pray for them to be filled with your spirit and anointed by you for the tasks ahead. You have shown us time and time again that you do not use perfect people to accomplish your objectives, but people who you have prepared for the job at hand. Give them and us the strength and courage to run the race. We can do nothing without you and are forever grateful for your mercy and grace. We pray for wisdom and discernment.

We pray, Lord, for a great spiritual awakening to flood the land so that none would be lost for that is your will as well. Help us to watch and pray and stay focused on you.

Luke 21:31-36

³¹ So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

³² Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

³³ Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

³⁴ And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

And Praise God! He has given us a leader who will successfully use economic sanctions to resolve a conflict before he sends troops into combat. Praise God for giving us a leader who is not a war hawk. Praise God that He has given us a President who loves the American soldier. Praise God that He has anointed our beloved President with wisdom. When the President and Vice President meet today concerning issues facing the Nation, give them Your precious guidance, Father God.

As the president welcomes the St. Louis Blues to the White House today, let it be a time of refreshment and joy. May they honor and respect him by Your grace in Jesus’ name. Amen.
