A number of “Churches” are raking in big Federal dollars for housing illegal aliens and so-called refugees.
Here is a separation of church and state I can believe in.
No, atheism taken to its logical conclusion is communism.
I am not accusing you of being a communist, I’m stating that following out the logic of no one to answer to and you are left with pure humanism which is the foundation for communism.
Again I’m not calling you a communist, I don’t believe in state sponsored religion and I detest the SBC especially since they have went full bore intersectionality.

Like any group, if you aren’t pushing toward the truth, you are sliding away from it.
SBC was dragged back from the brink in the 60s/70s by a strong preacher/leader who stood for truth and preached it in a loving, kind but firm way: Adrian Rodgers.
At that time apostasy was flirting with congregations and pastors and church leaders were more concerned with tickling the ears of their flocks, as has and is happening again today.
There are loud voices against the latest social justice warriors in the flock and in the pulpits. Those whose head is Satan, will continue to preach his lies have always been there but so is the truth of God, through His Son and rightful heir, Jesus Christ!
Those of us who recognize the voices of Satan, know them by their fruit and hold fast to the truth, which haters of Jesus’ mere name rebel.
Sadly, in today’s culture, Satan followers are in abundance and we are exposed to them in more places than in the past.
Many who don’t recognize the lies Satan tells, are often swayed, at least for a time but those who belong to the Shepherd, know Him and follow Him.
Well, I think Ayn Rand did a nice job of showing a line of atheism taken to its logical conclusion, and it was not communism. Remember, we are all born atheists.
Satan is the father of all lies.

So ERLC is under the SBC and Moore is President since 2013 of the ERLC. The ERLC doesn’t believe in national boundaries or citizenship. Moore was very much against our president and voiced his opinion that members of the SBC / Christians in general should vote 3td party/ write ins that would have guaranteed a HRC PRESIDENT.

Men are born in rebellion, if you have had children you know you did not have to teach them to do bad things and be selfish. You had to teach them to be “good”.

BTW many professing “Christians” in the USA are themselves practical atheists, meaning in their every day practice they behave like atheists.
I would submit if there is no set standard of right and wrong, no absolute authority the logical end is communism, real communism with a very few absolute power and the rest treated as a number.

Since you cannot read my body language and demeanor on a electronic device I want you to know I’m not trying to belittle you I’m really curious as to your thoughts and appreciate the exchange of ideas.
I’ve spent the last few years looking for a way to understand what you observe and for what I think I see, both now and in relation to history.
As hobbies go, it’s kinda like looking for both the correct map and then our location on the map.
For me, the Bible has been the only thing that pretty much gives you everything, map, location, plus explanations for what it all means, etc., once you let the Holy Spirit explain it.
No, really. I’m serious. It’s the only explanation for how everything becomes increasingly more clear, and more peaceful, once you start using “Bible gobbles” to “see” things with.
But ... you gotta be small to see it all ... and very quiet, too, if you want to hear what it all means, which is the main reason for why things are as they are and you said what you said.
Being still ... and staying awake ... and waiting for the Lord ... all at the same time ... is not always the easiest test to pass.
We like our quick answers better, but while also conveniently forgetting about their consequences.
Interesting times are always interesting for a reason, per the Bible.

our church is SBC, and we have often asked our pastor where the red line is. He would not support many of the current hot issues, and stated he’d rather keep our money if they continue on the current course. We’ll see. We will probably not stay a member if he doesn’t keep his word.

What gives mankind dignity? I don’t know if all of mankind has dignity. Some people do, but it seems to be a matter of personality or character, or upbringing.
Western society at least used to be cordial and folks helped each other out in a neighborly way - for the most part.
When was the last time we could say that? 40-50 years ago maybe, unless you’re from a small town.
Seems like we here in America have our very own Vatican level apostasy.
And to deny the heretical truths will garner a return to the glory days of the Spanish Inquisition.

Dear Lady, I noticed a number of years ago that this site does not welcome “heretical” opinions and since have been enjoying it for its other virtues.
I’ve gotten to where I don’t bring it up much anymore either, but occasionally it still bothers me when people act like Christian=Conservative, or Theist=Conservative. It’s not that simple. There are plenty of Christians out there who have absorbed Jesus’ “render unto Caesar” outlook and decided that Jesus was a socialist. And let’s not even start on how left wing most Jews are.
