Matthew 25:35 shows that Jesus didn’t say, “I was hungry and you gave me some money to buy food,” but, “I was hungry and you gave me something to eat.”

Also, 2 Thessalonians 3:10 says that if you won’t work then you don’t eat.

Insights welcome.
