This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 1 JOHN 5:14

We pray today in the name of Jesus, “O Lord.  We give our lives to you. We trust in you, our God! 

Praying for President Trump and those righteous members of his family, staff and administration. Do not let them be disgraced, or let their enemies rejoice in their defeat. No one who trusts in you will ever be disgraced, but disgrace comes to those who try to deceive others.

Show them the right path, O Lord; point out the road for them to follow. Lead them by your truth and teach them, for you are the God who saves them.  All day long, may they put their hope in you.

Remember, O Lord, your compassion and unfailing love, which you have shown from long ages past. Do not remember the rebellious sins of their youths.  Remember them in the light of your unfailing love, for you are merciful, O Lord. 

Lord, You are good and do what is right; You show the proper path to those who go astray. You lead the humble in doing right, teaching them his way. You lead with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep Your covenant and obey Your demands.

For the honor of your name, O Lord, forgive their  many, many sins. Because they have a fear of You, show them the path they should choose. They will live in prosperity, and their children will inherit the land. 

The Lord is a friend to those who fear him. He teaches them his covenant. By Your Spirit, direct their eyes always on You, for You rescue them from the traps of their enemies. Turn to them and have mercy, for they must feel alone and in deep distress. It seems like their problems go from bad to worse. Oh, save them from them all! We know Jesus felt their pain and sees their trouble. Forgive all their sins. See how many enemies They have and how viciously they hate them! Protect them! Rescue their lives from them! Do not let them be disgraced, for in you they take refuge. May integrity and honesty protect them, for they put their hope in you. O God, ransom them from all their troubles.”  Amen.  (From psalm 25)

Lord, in agreement with this prayer, I would also ask that your Church would rise and minister to those in need to your Glory during this time of suffering of all kinds. I would also ask that any who would use this crisis to advance an evil cause in this country be thwarted and those deceived by ungodly ideologies would have their scales removed so they can see your truth. Please use this time to bring about racial reconciliation and to end unnecessary divisions among Believers. Strengthen and favor Godly leaders as they work to navigate America through this multifaceted crisis.

Lord, God, we ask for wisdom and discernment—so much of what is happening around us has another layer of intent. Give us the desire to dig deeper, see the spiritual battle, and the plans that men make that are for their own gain. Protect us we pray in Jesus Name Amen
