Vandals Profane French Church, Steal Consecrated Hosts
Breitbart ^ | 5/20/20 | Thomas D. Williams

Unidentified vandals broke into the Church of Saint-Jean-des-Cordeliers in southwest France Tuesday and jimmied open the tabernacle to steal the consecrated hosts.

According to the attentive folks at L’Observatoire de la Christianophobie, the vandals broke into the church, located in the town of Bergerac in the Dordogne region, sometime in the afternoon, and stole both the hosts and the ciboria (covered metal vessels) that held them.

The theft of consecrated hosts often occurs in conjunction with Satanism, since the Satanic rite called a Black Mass is performed using the consecrated bread, which Catholics believe to be the body of Jesus Christ.

As Irish priest Father David Jones noted in late 2018, the growth of Satanic cults has seen a corresponding rise in demand for consecrated hosts.

We know that “consecrated hosts go missing from churches every month to be sold on the black market and desecrated in satanic rituals,” Father Jones said.

“It’s very easy to get sacred hosts in Ireland. We know from CCTV that people go to churches when no-one is there and many priests and sacristans are careless about leaving the key to the tabernacle around or in a places that is easily guessed,” he said.

Last year, Catholics in the United States raised an alarm when the e-commerce company Etsy.com posted an ad for “Real Catholic Hosts, consecrated by a priest.”

Sold by a business called “Pentagora,” the ad stated that the purpose of the nine hosts was “to abuse for classic black fairs or black magic purposes.”

A lot of kids who were altar boys have.

A lot of women have abortions, so I'll pay for my wife to have one, too.

Great self-justification.

Some can’t see the difference”

A sin is a sin, and one should not be proud of boasting of his sin.

When I was an altar boy, we would eat the hosts that were kept in a plastic bag...but the fun ones were the big hosts stacked neatly in a box...

We would hold them over our heads priest style and break them into pieces while uttering “Domini Sanctum” which sounds vaguely Latin to us...:)

I guess I am going to hell.

Not to get into theology here, but in Catholic doctrine there are venial sins, such as this, and mortal sins such as murder of ebb tide’s contemplated abortion. Once you start damning souls to hell for venial sins its over. There is, as you say, no salvation, and no need for a redeemer because there is no redemption.

On the other hand, if it means that many venial sins make one mortal sin as a disposition(dispositive), then, as was shown above (a. 3), this is true, in accord with the two modes of disposition in which a venial sin disposes one toward a mortal sin. St Thomas Aquinas Summa Theologica.

Have you not heard of the Sacrament of Confession?
