For Islam I do see 3 significant changes from the Judeo-Christian narrative:
1. The replacement of Isaac with Ishmael (this is in an ahadith, not the Quran itself)
2. The addition of Djinn - that angels are made form light, humans form earth and djinn from First and that the snake in the garden was Iblis, a Djinn
3. The replacement of Jesus with Isa - this “Isa” character in the Quran does and says things that Jesus never did.

But I’m kinda hard pressed to see how Islam differs from Judaism besides the points I listed above

I know our Jewish friends, nay brothers, will say that to them, Christianity is false - and that makes sense from their religious point of view. We can agree to disagree with them

This isn't simply a disagreement. According to scripture, if you do not believe in the Lord Jesus for your salvation then there is no other method of salvation. All other religious systems of this world, be it Judism or Islam, no matter how kind or noble, are false systems devised to keep a person from sharing in eternal glory with Christ. One can have a very moral belief system (like the Mormons) but good works or moral values will not save. And if a dear friend was following a path to eternal torment, would you simply say that "You have your ideas, and I have mine. I just simply disagree with your views."?

As one who believes in the sovereign will of God in salvation choosing those who He wills to accomplish His will, I fully understand that many will not come to Christ. They think our message is interferring with their beliefs. Their minds are darkened to the truth. However, that does not excuse us from our obligations to follows Christ's command to tell them that 1) they need to repent, and 2) believe in the Lord Jesus for their salvation.

Ezekiel 3:18 When I say to the wicked, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn him or speak out to warn the wicked from his wicked way that he may live, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand. 19 Yet if you have warned the wicked and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered yourself.

I was trying to be nice, but on reading what you said, I agree with your statement “According to scripture, if you do not believe in the Lord Jesus for your salvation then there is no other method of salvation. All other religious systems of this world, be it Judaism no matter how kind or noble, are false systems devised to keep a person from sharing in eternal glory with Christ.”

There is no difference. They are both false religions.

Ask yourself a question, who would you rather see come to know Christ; a Muslim who is steeped in a demonic religious system or a Jew who has a simple understanding of God yet rejects Jesus as the Messiah? I would hope we would answer that we would want them both to come to know Christ. They are both deceived.

It is our great hope and desire that God would open both their eyes to the truth and to hear and understand the Word of God. We have compassion and concern for both Muslim and Jew, as well as all people who are blinded by Satan. People might yell and scream of how we're intolerate or we're wrong. They did the same when Christ said He was the Son of God. It doesn't matter. All people need to confess their sin and ask our Lord Jesus to heal them. Only then will they find the love and joy that comes from knowing God.

Acts 4:12 And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”

Danny - you need to separate out and see the differences between the Jews of Jesus' time and the Jews of post 132 AD...Now we are not endebted to the modern day Pharisee-derived Jews (refer to the Talmud and specifically the work of Rabbi Ben Zakkai on how he transformed Pharisee-Judaism) -- we are endebted to the 2nd temple Judaism -- and Christianity is a sect of that 2nd-temple Judaism a sister religion to modern-day post-2nd-temple Judaism

Indeed, but my post was not referencing post 132 AD but the Jews to whom we are indebted. And it was the the scribes and the Pharisees whom sat in Moses’ seat, to whom the Lord (like as to civil authorities) required conditional obedience, (Matthew 23:2) yet due to their false judgments and impenitence recalcitrance lost that authority to the sects which established its Truth claims upon Scriptural substantiation in word and in power. (2 Co. 6:4-10) As must the faith do continually.

I nowhere or no way was inferring that the difference btwn Jews nor Muslims was just a matter of disagreement, for in context I was speaking in terms of degrees, not consequences. To die with just one sin means damnation, but as a matter of degrees, Sodom was not destroyed because their sin was that of not having a fence around the roof of new construction, but because their cry and sin was very grievous. (Genesis 18:20; cf. Ezek. 16: 49-50; Jude 1:7) And while one sin separates one from God yet there are those who (by God's grace) are obeying the light they have and are not "not far from the kingdom of God" as one who was a faithful Jew. (Mark 12:34) And Gentile Cornelius was yet lost, but was not as a wicked Haman as instead he was progressing toward Christ by obeying the light he was being given in God's grace.

Now no Jews are saved apart from Christ, nor are they overall as Cornelius, but the point is there are degrees of both personal iniquity and contrariness in belief, though all must come to even ground of the cross in penitential heart-purifying regenerating faith, thanks be to God. (Acts 10:43; 15:7-9; Titus 3:5)

Revelation 12:1 A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. 2 She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth.

The ‘moon’ is mentioned with the sun and woman.

Anybody with an astronomy app can observe when that happens.
It will right around Rosh Hashanah or a month later.

That sign shows up as a crescent moon in our sky.
I first saw it in 2014. And every year since, the woman will get clothed with the sun and the moon will travel down under her feet.
And it has marked the 7th or 8th lunar month.

And the ultimate reason why there is a ‘New Moon Day,’ in the Bible as set apart and holy, isn’t because of the lunar calendar.

It’s because the New Moon represents what events occurred ‘before’ His first work day and who was there in the beginning.

Those events are commemorated in Genesis 1:1 and John 1:1.
It is why Ezekiel was told that the New Moon Day was treated ( in the eyes of the inner gate facing east of the temple) in a similar fashion to the Sabbath.

The gate was to be open on the New Moon and the Sabbath.
But closed the 6 working days.

A simple question can be asked:
What is a New Moon if it isn’t one of His 6 working days or Sabbath?

The answer is found in Genesis 1:1 , John 1:1 and thanks to Revelation 12, John 1:14.

The God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob has a day every month that isnt His 6 work days or Sabbath.
And that’s the day He chooses to commemorate the beginning, before His first day, and the birth of His Son.

The Word that became flesh.

And He does it every month. One day. The first day of His month. The New Moon Day.
The gate of the inner court is open.

Then His 6 work days. The gate of the inner court is closed.

Then His 7th day Sabbath. The gate of the inner court open again.

Btw, the date of Passover never changes.
It’s still the 14th day of His 1st month.

The 6th and final work day in His 2nd week of the month.

1 New Moon Day
6 work Days
1 7th Day Sabbath
6 work days = 14th day

The popes Babylonian days may be blessed to house His Passover and Sabbath, but He changes not.
And the 3rd day from Passover is always His 16th and the Feast of First Fruits.
The resurrection Day.

Because of that woman clothed with the sun and the moon under feet, we can know exactly what a New Moon Day and why it was set apart.

Because people of faith would believe False Goddess Friday was His 6th day instead of His True 6th Day- Passover, the 14th day of the 1st and every month on the God of Abraham’s calendar.

And it’s not just Christianity that thinks that. Antichrist Judaism and Antichrist Islam does too.

That also brings to mind what’s also in Revelation 12- Satan deceives the whole world.

Ezekiel 46:1- ask Him why He told Ezekiel that the New Moon Day isnt one of His 6 work days or Sabbath.

You aren’t going to learn that from religion.
I know I didn’t.
And the answer to why is found again,in Genesis 1:1,John 1:1 and John 1:14.

All about Him!

There is NO way that I believed you thought otherwise. Sorry if my post wasn't clear.

It is most difficult to measure "obeying the light". People thought the Pharisees were very righteous. Yet our Lord Jesus said that prostitutes and tax collectors were more righteous than they. Grant it, I do believe there are benefits from following the commandments. This is grace bestowed on all. So one could have a Jew and a Muslim all following the commandments. What does this get us? Are they really "obeying the light" or are they simply doing works to please God and further their own end?

I don't think one can compare one false religion against another. What value does it serve? All religions that denies Christ as the Son of God are designed to lead people away from the truth.

I tend to think that Al was an amalgamation of various practices and beliefs
