Those that go to Israel are mostly those that are at least somewhat faithful, religious, have God in their lives. They’re mostly sensible enough to also WANT to serve in the defense forces. Most of them anyway.
The ones who stay behind in the diaspora/exile tend to be the “reform” commie types who aren’t very (if at all) Jewish anyway, they’ve substituted their sicko leftist politics for any real religious faith.
(Judaism does teach the necessity of working for a just world in terms of a good legal system with honest courts. And individual voluntary actions to help others who need help. Judaism does NOT teach communism or any other kind of forced or dictatorial control over society. Free will and the dignity and worth of every individual person is central to Jewish thought. So what we see with the leftist “Jews” are people who support politics that are antithetical to core Jewish or Biblical moral/theological teachings. We notice them making political noise because they hail from an identifiable ethnic minority. We do not so often “group” the far more numerous commie/leftist “Christians” and (more honest: atheists) as “Christians” because we realize that there are millions of Christians who oppose such dangerous politics. Perhaps we can be mindful also of the many Jewish people who likewise oppose dangerous leftwing politics. This will give us a clearer picture of the problem (and it will be fairer, too).
And perhaps we can encourage all the commie-leftist types, whether named Schumer or Pelousy or Maxine Waters or “de Blasio” to emigrate to some very remote island off the coast of Antarctica?
