Is your quote from this Origen as well:?? Same guy ?

”The question of universalism—, is perennially agitated in the Christian tradition. A notable proponent of that view was the great Origen, who, in the third century, set forth a theologically and philosophically complex doctrine of “Apocatastasis” according to which all creatures, including the devil, will be saved.

It ticks me off that the Purists out there force me to play their stupid game....

Origen isn't infallible and certainly can be wrong about things (even canonized saints were at times), but the Origen quote is taken from a nineteenth century Catholic Bible Commentary with a Church imprimatur... and is therefore free from doctrinal error. In addition, I have yet to find any traditional Catholic Bible commentary that disagrees.
