Roger Roth, Wisconsin Assemblyman and Candidate for Congress, Wisconsin’s 8th District, had this observation about the U.S. Constitution:
“The Constitution is a wonderful document. It’s a great piece of paper that’s got a lot of words on it. But you know, at the end of the day, it’s just a piece of paper that’s got a lot of words on it. And we need to elect representatives that believe in that.”
“It’s not so much ... I asked a class of, of, uh, you know, I go around to my local schools and talk to fourth, fifth, sixth graders, and I ask them, “what makes America great?” And they said, “Oh, we have a Constitution. It’s a flexible document” And I said, “Okay, yeah, that’s true.”

Do you ever get the feeling that to some of these ‘DemonRATS’the Consitution and Charmin are interchangable? Both are just peices of paper.
One of these days guys like this are going to be climbing out of some ditch trying to surrender, but to me it’s just going to be a piece of cloth with some white on it.

I wish that were true, but I am afraid that the population of this nation has been watered down with too many who came here with no intention to assimilate and who have no idea, or even care, that there is such a unique document as a Constitution.

Well, with the amendment process it technically is. Although I consider it as being flexible like a tree is flexible, or the wing on an aircraft. Yeah, it can bend when necessary, but we’re not talking flexible like a gymnast is flexible, or a piece of string.

Actually he is right. It is just apiece of paper and he is also right in saying that is largely just as good as the people we have standing behind it and interpreting it. Which is why we need to make sure we get our people in as Judges.
