Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker defended Sunday his cautious economic reopening plan, which leaves schools and many businesses shuttered until the novel coronavirus is all but defeated, saying the state will be unable to return to normal “until we’re able to eradicate it.”
“The truth is coronavirus is still out there. It hasn’t gone anywhere,” Mr. Pritzker said on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “So we all are going to have to change the way we do things until we’re able to eradicate it.”

We have been told that researchers are working on a vaccine but the vaccine may not even be available until sometime next year, if the researchers are successful in developing a vaccine.
It’s not the fact that we’re going to have to live with this virus just as we live with flu viruses and other illnesses?
We can and should do things for personal hygiene and to try to make it less likely any people get any illness not just this one. But if we’re trying to say that Life as we know it needs to come to an abrupt stop because of this virus, say goodbye to the quality of all of our lives. Do we really want to live the rest of our lives in some sort of lockdown situation?
Illinois will be a perfect study of frogs in a boiling pot of water.
