Great news about Baumgartner, but there’s still no justice for Christian and Newsom.

Maybe we could drop this Baumgartner from the edge of space, only without the parachute.

Here be justice :

To offset the rental cost, a raffle could be held - winners get to feed the animals into it.

I'll take 10 tickets, please !

Making the parents of the victims sit through another series of trials is cruel. I hope their health can stand another ordeal.

Hydrocodone, oxycodone, and oxycontin.

Hydrocodone with acetaminophen (Vicodin). Number of prescriptions in the US in 2010 - 131.2 million.

DEA production quota for oxycodone, 2012, 108 tons.

Oxycontin has been reformulated to make it harder to abuse by snorting or injecting, so is being replaced as an abused pharmaceutical of choice by oxymorphone, brand name Opana.

Reminiscent of NuMorphan, sold in the 60’s and crushable andd injected. Thousands died. It was meant to be a morphine replacement.

I can’t believe that this case is still dragging out. What is the problem with the prosecution’s case? I thought that this was an open and closed case.

Now it’s up to Judge Greer to uphold the conviction with an appropiate sentence. An article in KNS a couple days ago had Greer saying the entire case was week. http://www.knoxnews.com/news/2012/oct/29/judge-tosses-one-charge-against-richard-baumgarthe/ That’s got me kinda concerned it might factor into a light sentence.
