7 things that must be at the top of Hagel's 'to do' list

It’s official. Former Nebraska Senator Chuck Hagel is our new Secretary of Defense. What challenges does he face as he takes over the Defense Department? Here's the truth: a broken Pentagon is in desperate need of an overhaul. Let’s start with the draconian budget reductions facing DoD as the “sequester” looms. If the sequester happens this week it will, for better or worse, have a direct impact on a full spectrum of Pentagon operations. For starters, the sequester will cut about $1 trillion dollars out of the Pentagon budget. That money will disappear without any considerations regarding either national security threats or defense strategy.

I love LTC Shaffer to death(he is a kindred spirit) but Hagal is not the "man" to do ANY of this.

No-backbone RINO Senators are TRAITORS.

Hagel will do nothing positive, and will likely further create a rift between the US and Israel.

Hagel’s #1 priority will be to supply and support the Muslim Brotherhood. JUST WATCH!

Number One: resign.
You anti-Semitic anti-American sot.
Just bugger off and go away.
Other than that, there is nothing you can do.

For starters, the sequester will cut about $1 trillion dollars out of the Pentagon budget.

I find it really annoying that they now talk about spending cuts over a ten-year period rather than the normal per annum. How did they choose ten? Why not a hundred or a thousand, so we can talk about taking $100 trillion dollars out of the military budget over the next millennium?

The likelihood that a congressional spending reduction will last past the next congressional election is vanishingly small.

1. Get a brain.
2. Get a new personality.
3. Learn the difference between an ally and an enemy.
4. Buy a globe and study it.
5. RESIGN.

With bags that big under his eyes, I don’t think he’ll be around for long anyway...
