That's the mother. Begs the question, did he receive special treatment because of her connections? His intention of joining ISIS should have put him on a watch list, yet he was able to wander around Ottawa with a rifle in hand.
His mother, Susan Bibeau, works for the Immigration Dept. in Montreal.
But if its true that his father did go off to fight Jihad, that’s a major red-flag that was missed.

The article is rather incoherent. It’s hard to figure out when they are talking about the father and when they are talking about the son. Both seem to be Islamist nutjobs, though.

It’s probably more a case of the Canadians trying like maniacs to demonstrate their boundless tolerance.
Maybe they aren’t sure the rest of the universe sees them yet as having aced the ‘global test’ that public opinion is rabid to force on to civilized people.
Voters everywhere have to muster some political will and challenge this self-destructive mentality which is turning law abiding citizens into ‘target practice’ for stateless thugs.

FOX news male reporter for the Canadian shooting said the guy had recently converted so must not have understood islam. WHAT?!? Then a Canadian official was giving much the same excuse and he couldn’t be a terrorist because he was homegrown and not “flown in.”
