Aside: #MegynKelly as usual you are rabidly mistaken. Trump was right. I too remember the news report that Muslims (obviously not all) were celebrating.

The things is though now with the internet you can actually track down the facts. They don’t have quite the absolute control they once did.
The new play is to control search engines. I remember trying to look up stories during the Obama/Romney election and the first 2 pages of hits were all controlled by the Democrat party, including astro-turf sites like Snopes (a leftist shill).
As news becomes digitized, it’s easier to delete the record of something ever happening.
As stated in this thread, it’s part of the Communist ideology to ‘control the past.’ Actual ‘facts’ don’t matter. Indeed, to leftists there are no facts. EVERYTHING is political spin. Schools of journalism actual teach this. Deconstruction of language, which is inherently racist and sexist.
So it’s nothing to them to construct a narrative (b.s. version of reality) because there is no ‘truth.’ It’s all a matter of perspective and political agenda.
