Hillary Clinton on Election Night: ‘They Were Never Going to Let Me Be President’
Daily Beast ^ | April 20 | Gideon Resnick

Posted on 04/20/2018 7:34:08 AM PDT by Dahoser

“No one in modern politics, male or female, has had to withstand more indignities, setbacks and cynicism. She developed protective armor that made the real Hillary Clinton an enigma. But if she was guarded about her feelings and opinions, she believed it was in careful pursuit of a dream for generations of Americans: the election of the country’s first woman president.”

That would have been the nut graf of The New York Times story about Hillary Clinton’s historic victory that would have run under the headline “Madam President” spread across six front-page columns, according to reporter Amy Chozick’s new book, Chasing Hillary: Ten Years, Two Presidential Campaigns, and One Intact Glass Ceiling.
.
.
.
… That’s when Robby, drained and deflated, watching the results with his team in a room down the hall from Hillary’s suite, labored into the hallway of the Peninsula to break the news. Hillary didn’t seem all that surprised. ‘I knew it. I knew this would happen to me….’ Hillary said, now within a couple of inches of his face. ‘They were never going to let me be president.’”

"Sure-thing Hillary" toiled for years to put together a hugely expensive campaign with a cast of thousands.

Shoo-in Hillary had everything going for her:
(a) she was obsessively covered by a fawning media,
(b) everyone was primed and eager to expose any dirty tricks against their candidate,
(c) Hillary bragged foreign leaders (donors to The Clinton Foundation) backed her candidacy.
(d) Her $1.5 billion campaign literally circled the globe.

SO PONDER THIS:

<><> Obama didn’t notice with PDB’s and top intel at his fingertips that Russia was doing her in?

<><> fawning journos with foreign counterparts did not unearth the Russia plot against Hillary?

<><> smart cookie Hillary did not notice?

<><> her huge campaign apparat did not notice?

<><> her foreign donors did not notice Russians were openly working against her?

Hillary talks a lot about misogyny-—sounds more like myopia to me.

===================================

Pres Trump wonders why the Obama administration isnt under investigation in the Russian meddling plot against Hillary.

Good point, Pres Don.

<><>Obama was desperate to have Hillary carry out his third term. You'd think he'd be on the lookout for damaging info.

<><> It is next to unbelievable that Obama's PDBs didnt ferret out this info...or were the PDB's falsified?

<><> just for the asking, Obama had sophisticated intel at his fingertips.

<><> Obama and his indefatigable NSA snooper, Susan Rice, were rifling through tons of top secret intel 24/7.

Somebody should ask Susan Rice if her incessant "unmasking" didnt unearth a few clues about the Russian offensive against Hillary....and why she didnt tell anybody.

Oh, bite me with a full set of implants. I do believe Seth Rich and Vince Foster withstood more setbacks, no?

of course not. they just got all the semen stains out of the oval office upholstery from the last clinton.

But then, there is that stench in the room Øbozo and Reggie used to play.

I’m no psychiatrist, but it really seems like her inability to accept that she’ll never be president is becoming a psychosis for her.

Margaret Thatcher she wasn’t. That’s why. Not because of her gender. Because of her corruption, arrogance, toxic personality, and overhyped-but-underdeveloped capabilities.

She was such a terrible candidate she lost a rigged election with 90% media support.

She was drunk, crying and out of control for hours, on the phone with Linda Bloodworth Thomason that her loss was Comey’s and Obama’s fault. She couldn’t pull herself together to make a concession speech, she was too shattered and hysterical—and drunk. Obama called her TWICE on election night, told her she needed to make a concession speech.

The Kankelosaurus proved on election night that she is a mentally ill coward, emotionally unstable and completely unfit to be POTUS.

My pleasure! Additional:
In May 2016, Politico caught wind of this while analyzing FEC filings. Politico discovered the HVF would receive money from individuals under the guise of benefiting the Democratic party as a whole and instead would quietly distribute the funds mostly to the Clinton campaign. "The Democratic front-runner says she's raising big checks to help state committees, but they've gotten to keep only 1 percent of the $60 million raised," Politico announced. According to Dan Backer, by transferring money back and forth between committees but eventually filtering them into the Clinton campaign, the HVF basically laundered donations. Politico noted that state party officials were made aware that Clinton's campaign would control the movement of the funds between participating committees. But it appears that no one did anything about it.

The Bernie Sanders campaign was livid when it discovered this practice. Sanders publicly criticized the HVF and the Clinton campaign, accusing Clinton's campaign of "looting funds."

In her 2017 book "Hacks," Brazile recounts how she saw the money being moved in attempt to elude US campaign laws. "Individuals who had maxed out their $2,700 contribution limit to the campaign could write an additional check for $353,400 to the HVF -- that figure represented $10,000 to each of the 32 states' parties who were part of the Fund agreement -- $320,000 -- and $33,400 to the DNC," reads a passage from the book. "The money would be deposited in the states first, and transferred to the DNC shortly after that. Money in the battleground states usually stayed in that state, but all the other states funneled that money directly to the DNC, which quickly transferred the money to [Clinton campaign headquarters in] Brooklyn." ...he drafted a statement clearing Clinton of charges two months before the FBI interviewed her in its probe. His twisting the law into a pretzel to avoid prosecuting Clinton screams that political considerations were paramount and superseded any legal analysis.
