As you know, President Trump pardoned Dinesh D'Souza today. The media is enraged. As my team and I wrote on Spero News today, NBC News sent a breaking news alert with an opinion piece that President Trump is dangerous for "subverting the process." Rolling Stone sent an alert that Trump "abused his pardon power."
While D'Souza pled guilty to committing a campaign finance violation by giving away his money to friends who gave their money to a political candidate, many people who believe in liberty believe he did not commit a crime. When you speak to a friend to support a candidate and give them money to donate to a candidate, that's their money to do as they please, as my good Libertarian friends argue.
Additionally, NO ONE who committed the same crime had ever been sentenced to prison. Instead, they were fined. Unlike them, D'Souza was imprisoned, fined, and then forced to spend months attending therapeutic counseling.
D'Souza was targeted after releasing his documentary, 2016: Obama's America, that severely criticized President Obama's statist policies. His documentary shot-up the charts to become the second-grossing documentary of all-time! You can imagine how infuriated the Obama Administration was: “only leftists can produce documentaries!” Dinesh D’Souza changed the rules.
Before sentencing, the judge read in court that D'Souza was "arrogant" and "intolerant of others' feelings." And he agreed with a psychologist that D'Souza "tends to deny problems and isn't very introspective."
D'Souza was politically persecuted for thought crimes and sent to prison by a leftist judge and James Comey, who was the federal prosecutor in New York at the time, for re-education. This is a hallmark of Maoist-Stalinist totalitarianism!
This was just a taste of things to come.
If Hillary Clinton was elected, as the mainstream media planned, the government would target people like you and me who disagree with them as standard procedure! The deep state is still at work to keep us quiet but we have a President who pours kerosene into the swamp! Then lights a match to watch it burn.
President Trump is righting the ship of our great nation after the Obama Administration weaponized the government to target people who watch them and report on them, such as Dinesh D'Souza and Spero News.
The statist media has failed. Instead of watching the government, they target you and me because we oppose their ideology that would have us walk on all fours to beg for a handout. They don't hate President Trump. They hate me. They hate you.
D’Souza told Hollywood Reporter that Trump told him in telephone conversation, “‘You were screwed’” in the federal case. The conservative author revealed that the president told him that he is “a great voice for America.” D’Souza had long maintained that he had been singled out by the Obama administration because of his critical film titled “2016: Obama’s America”, which went on to become the second-most successful political documentary in movie history.
D’Souza credited Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) for having pressed for a pardon. Cruz spoke to the president, who expressed receptivity to a pardon. After a White House legal review, D’Souza received phone call from the White House on Wednesday, when he spoke directly to Trump for approximately 10 minutes. D’Souza said that Trump told him that he had been targeted over a “mere technicality.” Trump told D’Souza that he would clear his record to allow him to become “an even more visible voice for the country than you are now."

D’Souza paid more back than Marc Rich, who fled justice and was pardoned by Clinton. Liberals had no problem with that, even after Rich’s wife gave millions to Clinton in exchange for the pardon. They can kiss my ass if they have a problem with dsouzas pardon.
The scary thing is that so many people STILL support Hillary.
This is the like when the FBI nails people for structuring when they can’t nail them for fraud or money laundering.
A campaign law that is regularly flouted by donors on all sides. Does anybody really think that the ‘bundlers’ that throw private fundraisers for major candidates don’t end up kicking in extra personal donations? Of course they do.
I’m sure the documentary played a part in the decision to prosecute him.
And, I’m sure it also angers the Democrats, that here is a prominent immigrant, extolling the virtues of America, and of traditional values. Per liberal theology, D’Souza is supposed to be a loyal Democrat, loyal to Democrats because America is racist and bigoted, and Republicans allegedly hate immigrants such as him.
So his mere existence, offends the sensibilities of the liberals, because of being a prominent immigrant who doesn’t follow the Democrat party line.
And Rosie O’Donnel does EXACTLY the same crime, and nothing is done.
The definition of Tyranny is unequal enforcement of the law, and conservatives have been living under the tyranny of the left for decades.
God bless the pardon of Disouza. But I hope he doesn’t pardon that roostersucker Blagojevich.
There are those on the left harping about the pardon of D’Souza because he pled guilty.
He pled guilty because they had him on a technicality and were going to sentence him to a much longer prison sentence, so he pled to a reduced sentence.
Dinesh had no way to know Donald Trump would become President. He was looking at a Hillary presidency and he knew his days in prison could be much longer and much worth with her in the White House because his fellow India nemesis Preet Bharara, the US Attorney that railroaded him, would be promoted and more powerful in a Hillary White House.
The fact that he went to prison at all for a technicality is evidence of political targeting. Most who violate that same statute pay a fine and are done with it. And there are those that violate it much more severely and are never held accountable.

When I first entered Civil Service, I was assigned a coach. He was an old really smart guy just about to retire.
I remember the first thing he told me. “Don’t make enemies. Everyone has broken the law at some time, usually unaware that they did”.
If they really want to get you they will find a way.
Of course, all this Trump activity has given the hornets of MSM so much to sting at Trump about... till they lose their heads so obviously one of these days that public opinion will swing. That’s one rationale behind Trump’s flamboyant style. A fellow who spent years busting chairs over opponents’ heads in wrestling drama understands the dynamic. Would I want to see this during “ordinary” times in America? No. It wouldn’t be fitting or needed. But it’s fitting and needed now. It won’t just be “karma” to Preet Bharara. It’ll be “karma” to the whole MSM. Carry on in your best beekeeper suit, Donald Trump!
I am going to sit back and watch the Left play “Kick the Indian”.
