Mr Farage spoke highly about the country’s leader Viktor Orban and urged him to not stand to be lectured by the EU but instead follow the UK’s lead and simply leave the bloc.

The comments come a day before MEPs are set to vote on whether to trigger Article 7, which is an EU law drafted to ensure respect for democracy and the rule of law as they are worried Hungary is becoming a dictatorship.

Mr Orban has said that triggering Article 7 would be an “abuse of power” of the EU.

Brussels is concerned with Mr Orban's attitude towards migrant issues, NGOs, the media and the Central European University.

Nigel Farage, the former UKIP leader said: “Mr Orban you keep saying you want to stay a member of this EU, but it’s not just your country that’s been insulted today, you’ve been insulted today.

"Time to be a bit more logical, come and join the Brexit club.

“Well Mr Orban thank God there is at least one European leader prepared to stand up for his principles, his nation, his country and his people in the face of such extreme bullying.

"Thank God you’re there is all I can say.”

Orban and Merkel Brussels wants to trigger Article 7 over Hungary's EU membership He warned Mr Orban that the EU wants to “strip him of his voting rights” because he is standing up to George Soros.

He said: “They want to strip you of your voting rights, they want to stop giving you European funding and all of it because you have the audacity to stand up to George Soros.

A new bloc may be forming. Free nations versus the EU.

The political leaders of both Hungary and Poland are independent enough to consider leaving the EU. They, and perhaps Italy are the three most likely in the next few years. France and Germany do not want to admit the EU was a mistake, so they will cling to this slowly sinking ship a little bit longer.

Last I checked, Britain is still in the EU and Teresa May is working to make it more painful to leave than to stay, at least on the surface. Her government is splintering over her mendacity.

I’m actually surprised Nigel Farage is still alive. Perhaps Britain’s Deep State is getting soft. No fatal “accident” yet.

Not so much follow as sprint fast. The UK is bogged down in the details which is undoing the process. A country needs to “go cold turkey,” i.e. just set a near date and QUIT. The details can be worked out after and can be dictated to the EU in take-it-or-leave-it fashion.

The new bloc will be pretty anemic if it keeps stumbling over its shoe laces as Britain has insisted on doing.

all of it because you have the audacity to stand up to George Soros.

Is not George Soros the majority shareholder in EU, Inc.?

The EU is a single party state, and tries to undermine democracy whenever it rears its head. The proper response is to exit the EU, or better still, to behead it.

How much will that hurt economically? If they could hash a trade deal between them and Poland/Bulgaria/Czech Republic maybe that would help.
