Montana Sen. Jon Tester, a red state Democrat running for re-election in one of the closest Senate contests this year, has campaigned as a big hunting proponent, sending out mailers to voters that show him on his farm with his gun in hand.
“As we gear up for hunting season, Montanans know that hunting isn’t just a sport – it feeds our families, and it creates lifelong memories with our kids and grandkids,” Tester says in the campaign flier. “Montanans are lucky to have some of the best access, longest seasons and greatest hunting in the world.”
But according to Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks records reviewed by Fox News, Tester hasn’t had a hunting license in six years. He last had one in 2012 – the same year he was last on the ballot.

One would think he would be savvy enough to frame it in the “ I don’t get to hunt Montana like I used to, but I’ve been busy in DC doing.......”. These pol’s really are stupid....or they think we are.
I am going to play Devil’s Advocate here, my son really enjoys hunting but has not done so for quite a few years. I believe this Senator even if he is a democrat. Sometimes life interferes with doing the things we enjoy, even for Democrat senators. Let’s pick on the guy for all the things he deserves being picked on, let us not die on this silly hill.

Well at least he sounds like he is for the 2nd Amendment. Probably only because his constituents are. Like Hillary carrying around hot sauce when campaigning around Hispanics. Claiming that she always carries it. I’m guessing that the last time he had a hunting license more photo shooting was done than anything else.

Red state Dims lie about hunting and gun control, it's in their DNA. Just how much work would it be to buy a license, even if he didn't have a chance to use it, just to help out the Fish and Game department?
One of my favorite comedy routines is watching a Democrat pretend to be a hunter during election season. Try discussing which model makes the best weapon and why and he/she will quickly reveal their total ignorance of the subject. They will preen about barely sure which end does the shooting while, at the same time, making sure they never actually shoot an animal or run afoul of PETA and other lib weenies.
