It started as a series of phone calls among old high-school friends and ended up embroiling 65 women in the firestorm over a sexual assault allegation that could shape the Supreme Court.
In a matter of hours, they all signed onto a letter rallying behind high court nominee and their high school friend Brett Kavanaugh as someone who "has always treated women with decency and respect." And they signed up, whether they anticipated it or not, for becoming a focus of scrutiny themselves.
The powerful strength-in-numbers statement, offered to bolster Kavanaugh's denial of a claim that he attacked a girl at a party during their high school years, has drawn questions from journalists, social media skeptics, even Hollywood figures.
How well did the women know him? How could a statement and 65 signatures come together so fast after outlines of the allegation first surfaced publicly? And after subsequently hearing the details and learning that his accuser was a woman some of them knew, do they stand by their declaration?
Yes, say more than a dozen signers who have since spoken to The Associated Press or other media outlets....

with the war on women and all that sloganeering, why is it ok to go after women who are in support of Kavanaugh?
Are any of them being hassled or getting threats, as allegedly has happened to Christine Ford? The liberals are agahst that Christine Ford has been hassled and allegedly got death threats. Are those same liberals concerned that Kavanaugh’s supporters could be targeted?

But, as far as Christine Ford’s life being turned upside down and all that, maybe this will be a warning, to the next useful idiot who decides to do something for the cause.
Christine Ford is a liberal Democrat activist. She is a useful idiot for the forces which want to bring down Trump and Kavanaugh. Her life may well be forever changed. But it was her own damn choice to do that. Women have choices, and she chose to be a pawn in hardball politics. Now we are supposed to feel sympathy for her life being upended. She brought it all on herself. Spare me.
She’ll go down in history as a “dirty” footnote, if the truth is told. If not...she’ll be praised as a “JOAN OF ARC” who helped bring down the terrible, nasty, awful men.
Leftist/liberal women, esp. in Hollywood, have no regard for the “truth” if it applies to conservatives, men or women.

I couldn’t care less if they all died tomorrow, and some I like very much as entertainers, but I value a person’s character and ethics above their play-acting.

I’m wondering if Feinstein may have made a huge miscalculation. Although I know I’m an oddity—a conservative woman who lives in the Bay Area and voted for Trump—I’ve known for some time I’m nevertheless faced with a choice between Feinstein and her even more leftist socialist competitor DeLeon. I have no GOP option at all.
Until this week, I was planning on voting (reluctantly) for Feinstein, figuring she was the lesser of two evils.
After this week, I’ve decided I’m voting for neither. Screw it. She blew the chance for even my reluctant vote. Wonder if there are others out there like me?
I have 3 brothers and 3 sons, and more and more I worry about these unrelenting attacks on men—when will men fight back? Thank God Betsy DeVos has given men back some due process rights at college at least—hopefully fewer kangaroo court situations going forward.

We can be absolutely certain she received no death threats.
Vote for DeLeon, that will get Feinstein out of the Senate and DeLeon has no seniority. DeLeon will do far less damage then the very senior Feindtein.
I assume she did receive some - from people on her side trying to build a narrative that she's receiving death threats.

If the women who have come out to support Judge Kavanaugh will set up an organization, I think they will find lots of women eager to join the fight against the radical women who are front and center in their determination to undermine everything to take the power in this nation into their own hands and to then destroy everything dear to everyone, including our men. It is time to stop treating women as though they are cream puffs when they are some of the most cruel people around. The mannish, aggressive women who are proving to be destructive to our society right now have more testosterone than most of the men we know. So, take off the kid gloves and make them take the consequences that men have to take when they breach our laws. If you get into the game, whether man or woman, you need to play by the rules.
