President Donald Trump is headed to Texas on Oct. 22 to hold a rally at NRG Arena in Houston. Trump had promised to visit the state before Election Day to campaign with U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz in his re-election bid.

Trump's campaign announced Monday evening that the rally will take place at the NRG Arena. The date marks the first day of early voting for the November election, in which Cruz faces a strong challenge from U.S. Rep. Beto O'Rourke, D-El Paso.

I wonder if Lake Whitney is flooded. I checked their facebook page and they had said nothing about it. Glad we went the weekend we did!

Stay safe and stay dry...if possible!

She did pick a good week. I just wish lauren could have been free to come. She had that last minute commitment that turned out to be a bust after all the work she did.

Well, I don’t know. You’d have to ask the people in charge of security...ie, Secret Service. I would GUESS that the size would require so many more personnel.

It’s the NRG Arena which seats 8000, not the Stadium. It is the only venue available in the area at that time.

🇺🇸The venue in Houston, Texas has been changed to the Toyota Center because it holds 18,000 people and the response has been overwhelming. 🇺🇸

Partner, the Fire Marshall turns back the folks that can not get in, period.

They are having a political rally for Senator Ted Cruz at the Minute Maid Baseball Park and I know the place will be packed and any extra folks will be sent home.

At least, 40,000 thousand will get in to hear President Trump and Senator Cruz.

Now, from what I understand is that there will be a large TV or TV's put in place where folks that can not get in can at least see President Trump outside the arena.

This attracts the DemonRat Anarchist who are out to destroy anything that is Republican in nature plus anything that is decent and worth while to view.

Partner, this is when I knew that President Trump would beat Hillary Clintoon. President Trump was having political rallies at 5000 to 7000 seat arenas and 2 to 3 times had to be turned back away because the Fire Marshall did not let them in. Did we ever hear that in the nation wide news outlets that we have in our country, of course not.

Now they are having a large TV screen's outside the venue if they know too many folks are coming to arena and turned back by the Fire Marshall and I think that in Houston that they will have a police presence so that the DemonRats will not send in their paid off Anarchists to destroy the TV's. Hopefully, the police force will stop them. Of course, we know some DemonRat Mayors across our country who do not support our police force.
