President Donald Trump is headed to Texas on Oct. 22 to hold a rally at NRG Arena in Houston. Trump had promised to visit the state before Election Day to campaign with U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz in his re-election bid.

Trump's campaign announced Monday evening that the rally will take place at the NRG Arena. The date marks the first day of early voting for the November election, in which Cruz faces a strong challenge from U.S. Rep. Beto O'Rourke, D-El Paso.

Excellent. I hope it helps. Cruz is a little ahead, but hope he will be ahead at the reak election.

Odd that he keeps going to places that are way ahead like KY and TX, but it holds down the fort for 2020 as well.

I caught a portion of the debate between Cruz and Beto. Cruz was amazing and Beto parroted democrat talking points. Surely the great citizens of Texas will do the right thing.

“... in which Cruz faces a strong challenge from U.S. Rep. Beto O’Rourke,”

It won’t be a strong challenge after this rally. MAGA!

While President Trump gives most candidates “He has my complete and total Endorsement!” and a few get “Strongest Endorsement”, Cruz only gets his “Strong Endorsement!” Big difference. Maybe the hatchet (borrowed from Pacahontas and likely made in China) is not as completely buried as some might like to conclude? Will be curious to see what he says and tweets next week.

Stop with the word parsing! Cruz has completely supported Trump, including his reelection.

Note, I am NOT criticizing the candidate that Jim says not to criticize on FR. I am asking the meaning of Trump’s endorsement. He has been very specfiic in his wording—look at McSally and others—some are just support, endorse, strong endorse, strongest, etc. Trump is the one parsing words, which is what I was noting and commenting and asking about. Do you have thoughts on the less than complete and total endorsement that he gives others?

The president, rightly, wants to avoid anyone staying home because they think that any given race is “in the bag.” Fighting complacency in the mid-terms to smash the Pinkos.
