In all fairness, Nancy Pelosi deserves to be chosen Speaker of the House by the Democrats. If they give her a hard time, perhaps we will add some Republican votes. She has earned this great honor!
It’s basically the backup quarterback getting a chance to be the starter.
Then people will remember why he was the backup in real quick order.
Kind of like what the Cowboys are finding out about Dak Prescott.

It is a crying shame that the leftists have declared Uncle Remus Tales to be ‘racist’, thereby removing a beloved black character and his wisdom from the public discourse.
Nancy’s apparently very good at the role — except also a big target to run against.
My take honestly is she is so old and obviously losing it in some ways that she’ll play this last round, then they will set it up for someone else to prospectively take over after the 2020 election — so that Trump can’t run against her directly.
Roger that. By supporting her, Trump just gave Democrats permission to find someone else. "How can we support Pelosi when she's in Trump's pocket?!!" and so on.
Upside is that if she's picked, he'll have the perfect foil, and she's none too bright. Downside is that if she's not picked, Dems might actually elect someone competent, but it would touch off an internal war within the Dem party.
He's playing chess, while they're all playing tiddlywinks.
I think it should be, "Democratic Party deserves to have Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House."
She will refocus the Democrats, making sure they defeat George Bush.
I have this book in my daughters’ childhood book library. Great stories and great illustrations.
Very unPC today to make any reference to the stories because of the “Song of the South”/Uncle Remus parodies images of happy, content slaves in the pre-Civil War South.
Trump’s comment really is a master troll. While technically praising her on the flip and saying she should be Speaker again, he is also underscoring what a great PR coup it is to have the creepy old hag as the foremost face of the Democratic Party going into 2020.
