Judge Will NOT Issue Injuction In Rick Scott Motion To Impound Broward Election Equipment & Records

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) — More than a dozen attorneys are in court Monday for an emergency hearing involving a lawsuit filed by Florida Governor Rick Scott, asking to impound ballots and machines at the Broward Election office.

Republican Gov. Rick Scott’s U.S. Senate campaign filed two new lawsuits Sunday, one demanding law enforcement impound and secure voting machines, tallies and ballots in Broward and Palm Beach counties any time they were not actively in use.

“What we are asking the court to do today is too remove any doubt. Take away the concerns of the citizens, take away the concerns of the public that this election process will be protected,” stated attorney for Rick Scott, Jason Zimmerman. “All you have to do, your honor, to take away that doubt, to fix the erosion of this process, is to grant this injunction. Allow Broward County Sheriff’s to monitor the votes when they are not in use. We are not asking the court to have Broward County Sheriff’s Office overseeing or standing over the shoulder of people who are counting the votes. We are not asking the Broward County Sheriff’s Office to interfere with any count whatsoever. We are asking the court, when these ballots in these voting machines, are not in use, to have someone other than Dr. Snipes, other than someone who listens and reports to Dr. Snipes be a part of the inspection process.”

Broward Canvassing Board attorney Eugene Pettis countered by saying security is extremely tight at the facility.

You’re forgetting that all Florida counties have reported and we still don’t know how many votes were cast in Broward and Palm Beach. They waited until they know how many votes are needing to be found to get the result they want. There’s probably over 50k sitting in the Olpa Locka post office that were put there before the election.

HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY THIS?!!!!!!:

Gov. Rick Scott SHOULD OFFER A HEFTY REWARD TO ANYONE WITH INFORMATION REGARDING 'VOTER FRAUD NETWORKS' LEADING TO THE ARREST AND CONVICTION OF SUCH PARTICIPANTS..

The person seeking the REWARD will be guaranteed immunity from prosecution EVEN IF THEY WERE INVOLVED IN THE EXPOSED CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT VOTER FRAUD.

HOW DOES A $100,000 REWARD SOUND, HUH?

it is almost certainly too damned late ...
the machines, ballot boxes have been stuff full of fake and illegal votes
by now

the only remedy would be to not count those counties’ votes

as bad as that is, its better than the alternatives

oh yes, the criminals in charge of those counties need to be sent to PRISON ... ASAP!

Senate can refuse to seat Nelson and seat Scott instead (if they have some backbone.)

Florida legislature can refuse to seat Gillums.

I hope the Senate will also refuse to seat Cinema (or whatever her name is.)

If the situation were the reverse in Florida and these shenaagans were going on in favor of the Republicans, and the Senate were controlled by Democrats, they would have NO problem whatsoever in refusing to seat the Republican. In fact, they have done so in the past when they did not like the outcome of an election, and they had any excuse at all not to seat the Republican.

"The most a recount ever moves is 1000 to 1500 votes. "

The most a recount has ever moved up until now is 1000 to 1500 votes.

They should outsource elections to Price Waterhouse, or maybe Ernst & Whinney.

Tight security but not so tight care for getting ballots from the polling places to the counting office.

Get rid of vote by mail except for military overseas. No early voting. Everyone votes Election Day. This should fix most of it. Quite a few states don’t have these liberal laws and work out fine.

AMEN. I'm in California and have been saying this for years. I suspect California vote outcomes would be significantly different if we went back to the old methods. There are plenty of conservatives in this state, but few live in the big cities OR the gerrymandered districts.

I believe you are correct, it’s a trial run. If some folks don’t go to jail Now, it will indeed be over 2020.
