Democratic leaders plan to offer President Trump $1.3 billion in funding for a border fence when they meet Tuesday at the White House, a bid that falls far short of the $5 billion Trump is demanding to fund a border wall.
Democrats, Republicans and the White House have until Dec. 21 to reach a budget deal if they are to avert a partial government shutdown, but talks are deadlocked over funding for the wall.
As House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.) prepare for the Tuesday morning, Democrats and Trump are, if anything, moving further apart....

President Trump has the upper hand here; do wall, no deal.
Already lost it. There were record numbers of illegals this month after the President put the military on the border and promised they would not be allowed in. Oh and another Judge said he had to let them in and they run the country because he obeyed the illegal interference in his lawful duties, setting a permanent precedent apparently.
The President must go rogue and remove some of his friends or we all sink in his ship. No President should cede his power to four hundred judges. In another matter Justice Thomas was outraged today with his new colleagues.
PDJT is going o beat Schumer and Pelosi like a drum. Watch the master at work. And he will do it without Ryan too.
Hold the line, full funding or the government shuts down. And make sure that furloughed, “non-essential” employees do NOT get back pay when a deal is reached. This should not be a vacation for these people, as government shutdowns have been in the past. Shut it down 3 months, who cares, voters are fickle and will forget in a few months anyway...won’t affect 2020.
Maybe I’m not such an expert deal-maker, but I’d take the money now, and get it going. Many on the left will think Pelosi has sold them out by cooperating with Trump on this issue. I don’t mind fomenting division in their ranks on this.
As I have said so many times before, SHUT THE DAMN GUBMENT DOWN!

Those videos will be played and copied and played again. The American people will understand that the DemonRats shutdown our country for something which they supported a short time ago.
The American people want and deserve to feel safe within their own borders. A shutdown won't play well and it will only sensitize a whole lot of voters if it comes to pass.
Trump should raise his demand by $1.3B a day until they comply.
A simple chain link fence- 2 rows with a 50 yard sand track between them ( to spot footprints )
Patrolled day and night with infra-red cameras every mile and rapid response teams
If Trump doesn’t get the wall at very least majorly funded and started - his chances of reelection will be far far tougher.
It was his core issue, his base voted him in on it - if he has to shut the government down for two years because of them open borders commie pieces of crap then he MUST do it.
Playing politics and playing nice has not worked - time is running out. It needs to be built NOW.
