They make a rational calculation that they are stopping at what is merely a way station to get into our country and well worth the risk of getting out of the $#*+hole country which they left behind.
Of course they could stay and try to build a pleasant country like their much nearer neighbors in Costa Rica have built. But that never seems to be an option. Why do you suppose that is?

He was fed woefully insufficient quantities of rancid food with virtually no nutritional value, drank dirty, fetid water whenever he could sneak some from a barrel or a puddle, and the only medical treatment he would ever have gotten was a 7.92mm or 9mm injection of lead, depending upon whom he might have pissed off. Very much unlike the immigrants/invaders on our southern border.

Unless she is primaried (and so long as she keeps herself front-and-center like this I suspect the Dems are actually afraid to primary her) she will be on the November ballot.
