‘Chow Thief’ Vindman says he rank-checked Nunes because people were being mean to him on Twitter…
During his testimony at the House Intelligence Committee, Vindman ranked checked a member of Congress. “Rank checking” is when an officer demands you call them by their military title, and it’s seen as uncouth when dealing with civilians.
Special Forces veteran Tim Kennedy found this Vindman’s checking to be a bad look, as did nearly every other veteran who expressed their embarrassment over Vindman.

Where is Vindman’s Bronze Star?
A field grade special operations soldier asked me why Lindman didn’t have a Bronze Star. Officers who serve in a command position are usually given a Bronze Star for meritorious service.
The process of awarding officers a Bronze Star has recently become a controversial one, with many enlisted men viewing the practice as unfair, especially when awarded to officers who weren’t under active enemy fire.
At the time of VIndman’s command, the practice was still common, and Vindman should have a Bronze Star.
This is seen as a red flag to senior officers.

Boxer is about the same age as I and she should also know that Ma’am is/was considered a title of respect and was basically in vogue prior the term MS becoming the way to address a female if you didn’t know whether she was a Miss or Mrs, MS was the catchall.
Ma’am basically covered the same bases.
In the 1950s-60s Navy, the term ma’am was the proper address for the few Female Officers we ran into.
Guess TODAY, in the idea to impress we are all equal, the women would prefer SIR to MA’AM.
Actually Vidman is a Ukrainian citizen and his loyalty to Ukraine was expressed when he leaked false information to the so called whistleblower.
He was offered a position on the Ukrainian Cabinet while allegedly working for the US Government.
He is loyal to his homeland. I think he made that clear yesterday.

From what I’ve been told about Vietnam, you are absolutely spot on!
He lectured Rep. Nunes to refer to him by his rank and not as Mr. A smarmy classless move. Viewed very unfavorably by military members and veterans.
The more we learn about that guys story the more obvious it becomes that he is a political hack.
The guy who earned a reprimand for talking down Americans and the US to Russian troops? Yeah, real swell guy.
I found it annoying because Nunes had refered to him by rank already. In articles you sometimes write “President Trump” at first, and then just say “Mr. Trump” or “Trump”, and it isn’t meant to be disresepectful.
This reminded me of when Senator Boxer got mad at a military guy for calling her “Ma’am” instead of “Senator”.
But you see, the courtesy only flows to democrats.
Interestingly, right after the 2nd video, i was treated to a question to Vindman from Mr. Maloney, a democrat, who started the question “Mr. Vindman”, and oddly, Vindman did not correct him.
SO it seems that his outrage is very selective.
