The U.S. military is removing Patriot antimissile systems from Saudi Arabia as part of a shift of forces and equipment in the region following a buildup last year in response to Iranian threats, a U.S. official confirmed on Thursday.
The Wall Street Journal first reported that Washington is moving four Patriot missile batteries from the region.
The U.S. official confirmed to The Hill that two Patriot systems will come from Saudi Arabia — along with the roughly 300 military personnel deployed to man them. The two systems had been sent to the country last year after a Sept. 14 strike on two Saudi oil facilities that Washington and Riyadh both blame on Tehran, which the nation denies.
The official also confirmed that two additional Patriot systems will leave the region, as have two U.S. jet fighter squadrons.

Stay out of the grocery section, lots of food is from the States.
Just walk around.
Front to back. Left to right. Look at things. Kitchen hardware, knives, forks, spoons, plates, glasses, mugs, coffee mugs (all of them) Is all from China. Coffee equipment (all of it, coffee pots, everything for the kitchen). Electronics (everything). Fishing equipment (basically all of it). Camping equipment (everything). Tools, both indoor and outdoor. (Made in China). Furniture (All of it). Toys (All of it). Bicycles and goods (all from China). Car equipment (almost all from China)
We have stopped noticing how MUCH we import now, almost all of it from China.
China.
Possibly, the biggest threat in the entire world now, to everyone.
Really.
Now I confess not literally EVERYTHING manufactured, is from China.
But ... Way, way, way too much.
Not just in Walmart, either.
Everywhere.

You’re absolutely right. The challenge will be how fast can industry mobilize to bring manufacturing back. It needs to have the highest priority. China is not going to sit back and watch it happen.
I think THIS is what Trump should mobilize Americans to do.
Make America produce things again.

That needs to change. And it will change. Some of the stuff will be coming to the USA for manufacture. And some will be going to Taiwan, India, Viet Nam.
There are lots of bread and butter issues on the plate.
It will be a tough and ugly election, but most of them are. I think enough of the electorate will go for Trump. I don’t have much of a feel as to how the congressional races will go but i would guess the Senate won’t flip to Democrats.
Blow up a couple of carloads of Iranian terrorists and their stooges, and gaze in wonder as mullahs spit in hundreds of water bottles to bless them against the Kung Flu, and voila! Missiles can be redeployed.
