Coronavirus deaths are now rising along with cases and hospitalizations. When will the wave crest?

The surge of the coronavirus in California over the last month started with an explosion of new cases, then moved into hospitals that rapidly filled with patients and is now beginning to bring an increase in COVID-19 deaths.

The question now is how big the wave will get before it crests.

June turned out to be a grim month in the COVID-19 battle, with people beginning to socialize again in ways that allowed the virus to spread rapidly across communities. Hospitals are being hit hard as patients who were infected weeks ago are now getting sick enough to require medical care. Officials are hoping public behavior changed toward the end of June and early July, but they won’t know how that plays out for several more weeks.

California this week hit another troubling milestone Wednesday, recording the highest single-day COVID-19 death toll so far in the pandemic, with 149 fatalities reported, according to The Times’ California coronavirus tracker. An additional 137 deaths were reported Thursday, which would be the second-highest daily death toll in the pandemic.

Experts say deaths are a lagging indicator of coronavirus spread and probably reflect exposures to the virus that occurred four or five weeks earlier. Los Angeles County reported 48 deaths on Thursday, 61 on Wednesday, 45 on Tuesday and 50 on Monday. That’s substantially higher than the average of about 34 deaths per day reported in June.

Yet there are also a few signs of hope on the horizon.

Even as coronavirus-related hospitalizations reached all-time highs this week in L.A. County, they’ve been increasing at a slower rate in recent days, said Dr. Christine Ghaly, the county’s director of health services. Hospitalizations in the county topped out at a high of 2,037 on Tuesday before dropping to 1,995 Wednesday — a decline of 2%.

Are these cases dying from COVID ...or dying with COVID?

The hospital here says less than 10% of the ICU beds are for Covid. I would bet that numbers are similar nationally

Obviously, I don’t know all these cases, and we have gotten better at treating the most severely ill - but don’t be deceived, people are dying every day of overwhelming lung damage from COVID-19 and nothing else.

this began when infected MEXICANS were helicoptered
to the entire southwest USA.

why?

why?

when infected illegals were shipped to the entire
country in sunscreened windows to bring in measles
and worse, NO ONE SAID A WORD, as cities accepted
them. WHY?

because the DNC/RINOs remain in CONTROL.

If Beijing Biden steals the election on Nov 3, the pandemic will end Nov 4...just in time for the new communist overlords to formally begin the “fundamental transformation” of America.

This MUST BE TRUE, as this is from the news media.

Like the Lancet study on Hydroxychloroquine that EVERY news outlet POUNCED upon to discredit Trump.

“’Truly sorry’: Scientists pull panned Lancet study of Trump-touted drug”

Trust absolutely-f’n NOTHING from MSM. Get behind the headlines and the story for all the facts.

Kilmeade mentioned the panic headline this morning from South Texas.

——————VENTILATOR DEMAND AT 253% !!!! -———————

Turns out the hospital normally has 9 ventilator units, which translates into about 20 people who need them. And, as mentioned here, there has been lots of cross border activity in search of treatment.

If I failed to mention: Trust absolutely-f’n NOTHING from MSM.

Note one is where we are and the other is predictions. This whole scare, from day one, has been about predictions of what could happen, but never did. At first they predicted 2 million US deaths. There probably will be - within 20 years.

The predictive chart reminds me of those stock charts showing what a stock has done and what it suggests it will do. And they are never right.

This thing is over, for all intents and purposes. It’s just another Pandemic, like the flu. And we seem to have achieved herd immunity in the most impacted community - the elderly.

It will crest right about November 4th should Biden win. If Trump wins then there might be another killer surge. The groups playing with the numbers, and the organizations in charge of getting “facts” out to the public will continue to use their power to manipulate us, regardless.

The wave will crest in about three weeks—just like it has everywhere else. This is the same pattern that’s happened everywhere.

Why is the media deluded by this? The virus spreads. That means it moves from one place to another. It did not just “show up” everywhere at once. The pattern has radiated from NYC, outward and westward. The European variant to Covid has been moving East to West since it landed in Iran and Italy.

The media looks at what is in front of it, right now. It doesn’t look at larger context.

What is important to know is the capacity. There is usually not much ICU capacity to begin with. Hospitals are built for that.

Context is important.

“...but don’t be deceived, people are dying every day of overwhelming lung damage from COVID-19 and nothing else.”

Really? How many exactly are dying “every day of lung damage” and where are the demographics of these deaths (age, race, any co morbidity etc?)

Like any epidemic some will unfortunately get very sick and die. We saw the same thing with H1N1 yet we did t shit down the economy and engage in national hysteria. Somehow we still survived
