Imagine if we had no border control at all, which is what the Dems want. The epidemic would be spreading like wildfire with all the related systemic problems.

If the virus is so easily spread why are they shoving a Qtip up your nostril practically into your brain to get a sample?

Dr. Atlas: Coronavirus surges linked mostly to protests — and proximity to US-Mexico border:

‘Protesting, sharing megaphones, screaming ... That’s a setup to spread cases,’ Atlas says
By Victor Garcia | Fox News

Dr. Scott Atlas on the state of the pandemic as daily infections approach 70,000:

Senior Fellow at The Hoover Institution, Dr. Scott Atlas, joins Jon Scott on ‘Fox Report Weekend.’

The recent surges in U.S. coronavirus cases can be traced to two key factors — crowds of protesters and proximity to the U.S.-Mexico border, Dr. Scott Atlas, a senior fellow at The Hoover Institution, said Saturday night.

Most of the cases in the Southwest — California, Arizona and Texas — are occuring in counties closest to the U.S.-Mexico border, Atlas told anchor Jon Scott during an appearance on on “Fox Report Weekend.”

“When you look in the southern counties of California, Arizona and the bordering counties of Texas — with the Mexico border — these are where most of these cases are really exploding,” Atlas said. “And then you look at the Mexico map and in Mexico, that’s where their cases are. Their cases are in the northern border zone states. And it turns out the timeline here correlates much more to the Mexico timeline of increasing cases than anything else.”

IN FLORIDA, OVER 40 HOSPITALS MAX OUT ICU CAPACITY AMID CORONAVIRUS SURGE

Spikes in Texas, Florida and Arizona don’t essentially line up with reopening but with Mexico’s surge and the recent protests that have gripped the U.S., Atlas said.

“When you really look closely at these so-called re-opening policies, whether it’s in Georgia or Florida or Texas, you know, we didn’t really see a big correlation of cases and hospitalizations from that,” Atlas said. “That’s really not true. That’s sort of some sloppy thinking, I think, again. We really ... have to look closely at why these things are happening.

“By the way. California didn’t really reopen. Yet they have cases coming up. Why is that? I mean, that’s because these cases don’t really correlate to that.”

‘A setup to spread cases’:
“They correlate mainly to two things — the big thousands and thousands of people with protesting, sharing megaphones, screaming. That’s a setup to spread cases,” Atlas said. “And also when you look at the analysis of the border counties, there’s a tremendous amount of cases coming over the border and exchanging with families in the northern Mexico states.”

Trump’s Mt Rushmore rally was supposed to cause forest fires from the fire works...never happened. The rally was supposed to cause a huge spike in COVID cases... never happened. However, mass protests and open borders actually cause a spike in COVID cases ...crickets from the media.

This still doesnt explain the near simultaneous spike in cases across the south, when the massive protests in northern and central cities haven’t produced the same simultaneous spikes

Where are the spikes in NYC, DC, Chicago, Seattle, Pottland?

The only reason BLM protests haven’t caused a bigger spike in Covid-19 infections than what we’re already seeing is that their presence actually reduces the density of other (normal) people in an area. Nobody wants to be around a mob that’s on the verge of looting and rioting, which means that (luckily) it’s mostly the protesters themselves who are getting infected.

... and increased testing. In Montgomery County PA, epicenter of the early COVID breakout, they opened 4 new testing centers on a Monday and low & behold the weekly count jumped by 1,000 positive tests. Of course Pennlive.com dutifully reports Governor Wolf’s panic and warnings about renewed lockdowns, but never mentions the additional testing as the reason for the spike.

Well, I'm shocked...
Bring Out Your Dead

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

The false positive rate was 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

*sigh* Such is life, and death...

Conservatives need to cease wrongfully assuming that the surges and spikes are a real problem but blaming that nonexistent problem on Mexico and rallies. This approach helps only the Democrats. Breitbart has done much to spread this approach.

Is it real or made to seem that way? How do we observers know for sure?

The virus naturally began to decline with summer weather and sunshine, allowing economies to recover and President Trump to restart his campaign.

Suddenly, BLM finds a reason to protest and it’s on: large crowds, protests, rioting, etc., and just in time for the DNC’s much needed campaign dollars ... which soon began rolling in via the BLM donations.

No surprise that the Covid numbers are also rapidly climbing, given the ‘expert’s’ warnings about crowds and masks, which were rationally ignored due to the urgent need for crowds so black lives can matter.

As an observer, I see a well-timed double bonus: a spike in DNC donations and also a spike in Covid numbers. Win Win for the DNC!

The media predictably stokes all fears, with the usual suspect Governors quickly ordering mandatory masks and the rest soon follow. What a coincidence.

Hard to argue with such a successful strategy, because it’s even more difficult to argue with fear, especially normal fears that have been raised to irrational levels in normally sane people.

Exactly the kind who will vote Demonrat, especially if there is a crisis virus in the air.

Yeah, because Florida is skyrocketing because of their Mexico border. Wait, no, that can’t be the reason. But just wait 10 days for the Disney crowd to disperse throughout the nation.

A nurse in Nebraska said as much. She was
Fired
Doxed
And is now in hiding.

She will not be able to find a job in her field again.

Which is why they insist on closing churches but not doing anything about protests. Christians will not fight back

NM guv just closed inside dining again scolding residents for not enough mask wearing. There is an increase in positive tests that seem to center on a mexican border county that a lot of temp workers from MX work at and in Albuquerque where she applauded her pet UNM/BLM protests a few weeks ago. But of course you now cannot dine in because, you know, not enough mask wearing state wide. Morons all.
