Monday was the first chance the liberal broadcast networks had at giving their viewers a fuller understanding of the day George Floyd was killed by a Minneapolis police officer as two body camera videos were leaked to the U.K.'s Daily Mail. The videos show officers struggling to get Floyd into the cop car with an officer telling him to “stop resisting” at one point. ABC’s World News Tonight skipped the videos entirely, while CBS and NBC aired highly-edited soundbites and omitted the order.
In the video Daily Mail posted on YouTube, Officer Thomas Lane had Floyd out of his vehicle and was trying to get him into handcuffs. At the 2:13-mark, Lane can be heard telling Floyd to “stop resisting,” to which Floyd said: “I’m not.” “Yes, you are,” Lane replied.
That exchange was edited out by both the CBS Evening News and NBC Nightly News. Instead, they chose to mislead. The included video below shows how both networks used the leaked video for selectively edited soundbites.
The media have seen these videos before when officials allowed the media to watch them, but not broadcast them. But CBS anchor Norah O’Donnell hid that fact from viewers. Telling them, “Tonight, we're getting the first look at body cam video from two of the Minneapolis police officers who were on the scene the night George Floyd died in custody.”

Did the same thing to the George Zimmerman related 911 phone call tape and then a Florida Democrat judge conveniently throws out the lawsuit against NBC.
Maybe this guy was the worlds biggest lowlife, but nothing he did prior to being face down on the ground with his hands cuffed behind his back justifies or excuses the cop kneeling on his neck for 8-minutes. Nothing.
These four law enforcement officers will all be cleared of charges against them, just as all the Baltimore cops were a few years back. Floyd was far from being an alter boy!!!
Plus...he passed away from a severe overdose of self taken drugs....the whole episode is sad from A-Z!!! Floyd was a good man with serious faults, that he himself brought about, not the arresting officers!!!

I got fired from my job because I replied to an online Letter to the Editor that George Floyd was a drug-using scumbag who caused his own death by resisting arrest.
There are no laws protecting employee free speech on their own time. Of course, if I was one of the protected classes, I could claim I was terminated for bias.
We will be crushed into silence and submission.
Officer Thomas Lane messed up, by not identifying himself and by aiming his pistol directly at George Floyd.
George Floyd is startled by the tap on his driver’s side window, by Thomas Lane, and Floyd sees a gun pointed at him.
George Floyd did not yet know that police were in the area.
In the first instant, of the tap on the window plus a gun pointed at your head, what YOU see (from George Floyd’s view) is aggravated assault.

In the Ferguson case the police officer has been cleared twice. Once by Holder and most recently by the local DA.
Yet the narrative remains that Brown was shot by the cop while saying "hands up, don't shoot".
Oh my, I dont know you. But this, in a sane world, sounds too crazy to be true. We are at the cusp of box cars in this once great nation. And when they start rounding up whites (especially males), all others will cheer since they are “Lives unworthy of Life.”

Floyd was repeatedly told to stop resisting by his two associates as well.
Having watched the entire video. I agree the officers will be found to have behaved properly. Dealing with people that are whacked out on drugs is not like dealing with regular perps. They seem to have enormous strength.
The MSM felt the need to edit and change the actual raw footage. Obviously they feel the need to mislead the public. They also edited out that Floyd asked to be on the ground. Had he just gotten in the patrol car, there would have been no need to hold him down.
Autopsy said he died from a Fentanyl overdose and that is exactly what happened.
I am sorry to read that you were fired for offering nothing more than an opinion. I hope you have a good lawyer and launch a lawsuit.
