The tables have turned. Amy Coney Barrett, President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, continued to impress Americans on the third day of her confirmation hearing. Even Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), who notoriously attacked Barrett for the “dogma” living “loudly” within her in 2017, said, “I’m really impressed.”
Barrett also deftly responded to Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), the Democratic nominee for vice president, when she tried to trap the nominee in questions about climate change.

All these doofuses are doing is making ACB look more brilliant and more qualified for the position, not less. They are like a nickel setting for the Hope diamond.
The real mark of a supreme court judge is one that will vote for law they personally find offensive but constitutional. A judge such as this is the servant of the constitution and not politics

I knew a woman a few years ago. She was smart, but not a genius.
However, she had, if not, very close to a photographic memory.
She said one of the problems with such a memory, was always knowing you were right in disagreements with your spouse.
She said it was a real strain on the relationship.

I prefer waking up to a beautiful woman laying beside me than a beer anytime.
That segment was the key right there. And the impressive thing was...there wasn't any hemming or hawing from Barrett.
It is as if she just knew how that line of questioning was going to go.
Maybe I am giving her too much credit. But, I would think, as a professor with a lot of talented students...this may not be a new thing.
Part of her job as a good professor and lawyer is to evaluate her subject, jury, or opposition...figure out how they accept and process information. Good teachers know how to do this, and the great ones can do it intuitively, in the same way it is said that a combat hardened soldier with experience can size up another soldier in a tight spot and figure out if they can trust them or not.
She has probably had to walk many students and people down that logical path, that this dimwit Leftist Senator was an easy mark for someone a lot sharper the herself.
