WASHINGTON (AP) — Debate commission adopts new rules to mute microphones to allow Trump, Biden 2 minutes of uninterrupted time per segment.
If you remember the first debate, Biden had memorized long sentences packed with lies. Each lie would have taken time to debunk them. When Trump did take on a lie, the moderator would interrupt, saying it was a subject that will be covered later. However, the mistake was made when Biden was allowed to put out the lie that also belonged in a later segment. See how they rigged it?

Trump should have words or phrases on his clothes for when he gets muted.
They changed the topics to protect joe and hunter biden.
Now they are changing microphone rules to silence trump.
it is time to destroy the debate commission and its rules and
grease the gears of the trash compactor worthy debate commission with the guts of these phony GOPe traitors.
I think Trump should cancel citing the last minute panel”s decision to refrain from foreign policy subjects as well as moderator bias which is darn easy to do with her paper trail.
Make the panel defend itself while ridiculing the whole perverted canard at a rally.
It is not a moderator. It is a Democrat partisan host.
Joe will absolutely shine in a setting where he gets 2 uninterrupted minutes to completely lie his ass off. It’s how he politics. The “Press” will go full-Onan playing his soundbites
Trump has NOTHING to gain from this format because it’s totally geared toward a loud-mouthed liar like Joe. Joe’s 2 minutes will be being pumped into his ear, anyway.
I would prefer that Trump not debase himself with this, but he’s a fighter and I think he sees dealing with this entire gang of a-holes (including this commission) as a challenge.

What would you think if Trump walked out of the debate and held a rally outside?
This is a major change to the originally agreed to rules. It justifies president Trump refusing to participate.
Two questions:
1.If the Rat mod takes 1:50 minutes to ask a question, does Trump only get 10 seconds to answer?
2. If POTUS gets a question on climate change, for example, and answers in 30 seconds, and then switches the topic to Hunter's laptop and Joe's grifting, will the mod allow the change in topic continue, or will she mute his mic, saying he strayed from the topic?
So they change the rules and topic 2 days before the event?

Everything from COVID, to the Iranian deal, to the bogus impeachment this year, to RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA, to the Bidens’ wealth for white aristocrats program, EVERYTHING is related to foreign policy subjects.
The purpose of a debate is to talk about whatever you as a candidate want to talk about (Chris Wallace be damned for interrupting Trump to say “We’ll be discussing the economy LATER”).
Put it out there and let the moderator hem and haw covering for BiteMe Biden.
None of the previous moderators saw fit to pin down Biden or Harris on the issue of packing the supreme court with rubber stamp justices to dilute the power of the conservatives on the court.
If they bring up racism, tax returns, or a slew of “domestic” topics, say “this debate is looking like a rerun and none of it is focused on the topics of the day or the powers of the presidency”.
They must ALL be involved in the human sex-trafficking operations.
In which case, they'll all look good in a tight little row on the scaffolds.
President Trump should bring his own microphone with him. He can hide it under his lapel, Biden-style. Or he can just brandish it, Trump style.
“Cancel the debate and have another huge rally.”
Yup, I would tell these networks and the Debate Commision to GFT.
