Well, sounds like the end of the VA.

I hope not, my VA healthcare is A-One, but too many vets have suffered and died over the years because of VA incompetence, so I do have sympathy for them.

The bureaucrats at the VA are Organized Crime.

The “Magic VA Disability % Chart” needs to be tossed out.

A 40% Disability rating “magically” becomes 3%?

And no one, NO ONE, in the VA can explain the purpose of this chart or how it works?

Baloney.

It is discriminatory and illegal.

What would happen if a “Magical” GS Pay Chart appeared? Every GS employee’s pay rate would be run through it and reduced by 60%.

Think they’d like that?

They did it to Veterans.

Well, yes, one can file pretty much anything.

As the plaintiffs found out in the linked case, winning is a completely different issue.

Using the VA for the last thirty some years, I have had only exemplary service.

“Exemplary service” should be the norm. The fact that that is not always the case is the crime. “All gave some” should mean a lot. Veterans don’t just deserve it. They earned it. I’m a vet and haven’t used the medical care but it irritates me that my brothers in arms aren’t taken care of.

About time. They should also allow suing the individual doctors and bureaucrats who are complicit in providing such shoddy care.

And just following orders doesn’t cut it. If you are not able to do right by your fellow service members you should hang up your shingle and let someone else who can take your place.

That magic chart must be extra magic since it seems that VA in Australia uses it too (the process of disability assessment here is shrouded in more mystery than a certain FBI investigation).

It seems that veterans in both our countries suffer the same need to fight their government long after they finished fighting their country’s enemies.

With another left-wing “judge” stifling the EO to allow easier firing of them union members, this may be a suitable stop-gap....
