Some things you just can't control... Glenn Beck had been trying for weeks to get a military fly-over with fighter jets to start the event, but the White House blocked it saying it was "restricted airspace". The rally started at 10:00 am, but at precisely 9:59am, God gave us His fly-over that could not have been better. I still get Goose bumps when I watch this. Everyone who was there witnessed a miracle You got to remember that GOD is still in charge!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2-QQoehT8c
  • Aerial Shot Comparison: Glenn Beck’s ‘Restoring Honor’ Rally Vs. Progressive’s ‘One Nation’ Rally.

    10/04/2010 8:11:29 AM PDT · by blog.Eyeblast.tv · 17 replies
This past Saturday, progressives held the ‘One Nation’ rally at the Lincoln Memorial in an attempt to rival Glenn Beck’s 8/28 ‘Restoring Honor’ rally. While liberals talked a big game about how they’d have as many show to ‘One Nation’ as ‘Restoring Honor’, it wasn’t even close. And for that reason, I am going to do a comparison via aerial shots of both crowds. Keep in mind that on Friday, Ed Schultz boldly predicted that 300,000 would show up at the ‘One Nation’ rally. Well, he was wrong. (pictures in post)

Between 6 and 7pm (est) tonight, Fox News had on Doug Schoen, the Democratic pollster and some other A$$Hat whom I believe was an author. The discussion was about the reliability and slant of polls. What REALLY Pi$$ed me off is .. The author dude said a Good Example of misleading numbers was .. Ta Da .. Glenn Beck and his claiming of 500,000 people at the Beck rally. This guy CLAIMS that there was REALLY only about 90,000 people in attendance. Here's the KICKER. The guy CLAIMS that Farakan's Million Man March was also misleading Because .. There was...

Glenn Beck's Restoring America rally was a pleasant surprise. All great leaders have something in common: their belief in a transcendent being called God. This belief in God is the answer to restoring America because we are not fighting a physical battle; we are first and foremost fighting a spiritual one. Without recognizing this we will lose the culture and end up with a society that trades freedom for comfort, with pleasure as the good, choosing leaders that promise that Utopian delusion. In discovering God we discover who Progressives are trying to replace through the use of an ever expanding...

I’ve entitled this column “Burning Bridges over Beck” only because the original title, “How to Lose Conservative Friends and Alienate Readers While Drawing a Line in the Sand on the Banks of the Rubicon” was, as the Mrs. put it, “a bit verbose.”          Let’s get down to it. Glenn Beck is an influential figure; no one can deny that he has made considerable advances for the conservative movement. I have never watched his television program, so most of what I know about him I have learned by watching the response to him. That response is very impressive. The rally in Washington this...

Last weekend, I had the privilege of attending the “Restoring Honor” rally in Washington, D.C. While I’m proud to be an American each and every day, I was especially proud on that day. The feeling I had being amongst so many people that love and appreciate the blessings of liberty was at times overwhelming. The purpose of the event was simple. We wanted to express our love for our nation and dedicate ourselves to practicing the values that has made it so strong. Unfortunately, this simple lesson appears to be impossible for liberals and the media to comprehend.

In this film, you can ad to my count, Cons 2-Libs 0. To quote the YouTube site: The Runaway Slave movie crews were at Glenn Beck’s “Restoring Honor Rally” and at Al Sharpton’s “Reclaiming the Dream March” on Aug 28th. As the two ideologies clashed in DC, our movie crews were on the scene. In this raw footage, shot near the future MLK memorial site, Black Conservatives leaving the “Restoring Honor” rally encounter Sharpton’s protestors who were holding signs claiming “Tea Party Racism.” This is just one of debates that we captured after the rally had ended. Like hundreds of thousands of others, I attended the Glenn Beck “Restoring Honor” rally on the Mall in Washington, D.C. last Saturday. The crowds were massive. I figured the best way to document the size and scope of the crowd was in one continuous video shot, no cuts, no edits, walking from the back to the front. The walk took over 43 minutes. Starting at the Washington Monument as people continued to pour in at 10:00 am, walking through the crowds using the hill at the monument as amphitheater seating, I made my way through the crowd and to the...

The Glenn Beck rally is confusing people. Why? He is aiming far beyond what most people consider to be the goalposts. Using Boyd’s continuum for war: Material, Intellectual, Moral. Analogously for political change: Elections, Institutions, Culture. Beck sees correctly that the Conservative movement had only limited success because it was good at level 1, for a while, weak on level 2, and barely touched level 3. Talk Radio and the Tea Party are level 3 phenomena, popular outbreaks, which are blowing back into politics. Someone who asks what the rally has to do with the 2010 election is missing the...

SmithWASHINGTON, D.C., August 31, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Concerned that religion is slipping from its time honored place at the heart of America, tens of thousands of Americans of all different faiths gathered in Washington, D.C. on Saturday. The massive crowd gathered in response to conservative icon Glenn Beck’s call for a fundamental restoration of traditional American values. For Beck, the August 28 “Restoring Rally” was an ecumenical call that could serve to make the United States great again by bringing it back to God....

I write to you today for if I don't a message could be lost. A message, a spirit, a feeling could just simply disappear to the mainstream media. A message of restoring your personal faith in your personal denomination, a spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ, and a feeling of closeness of American's. When we booked our plane to head to Restoring Honor I was thrilled. When I arrived to DC and explored the sites and the wonderful buildings I still wasn't "feeling it". When I arrived at the Smithsonean I started to feel it. When I walked into the...

Special Report The Success of the Beck Rally By Jeffrey Lord on 8.31.10 I love watching Glenn Beck on TV. Day winding down, he makes so many good points. As someone who has spent a lifetime studying history, been there in government and politics, I find it great to watch Beck's particular insistence on educating Americans about real history that has gone missing. Having long ago learned first hand the progressive-race connection, for example, by having lived for a couple years in Woodrow Wilson's hometown, I am stunned to see someone have the wit and the chops to detail this...

To hear the mainstream media tell the story, you would have thought that I, a black man, had walked into a hornet’s nest of racists when I decided to attend Glenn Beck's "Restoring Honor" rally. In reality, my experience was the complete opposite. Instead of hooded Klansman frothing with hate and venom, I made dozens of new Facebook friends and gained a hundred Twitter followers. One lady from New Jersey asked me if I was "afraid" because I was one of the "few blacks in attendance?" I looked at her square in the eye and said, "Ma'am, the only thing...

The opening prayer of dedication at Glenn Becks "Restoring Honor" rally: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47V-dpiLM78 (Pastor Jehles (Pronounced "Jail") is introduced and invited to give the opening prayer of dedication at approximately the 5minute:14second mark.) was addressed to the "gods", NOT to the one TRUE God who establised America, not to the God of the Bible or of biblical Christianity. We watched the entire "Restoring Honor" event and "Pastor" Paul Jehles OPENING PRAYER in behalf of the nation and everyone assembled which was addressed to the Lord "gods" (plural) was appalling! This "pastor" made a specific point of calling on the "gods" for...

Pundits will debate whether the crowd at Glenn Beck's Saturday rally in Washington was the largest in recent political history, but it was certainly among the most impressive. Mr. Beck is a television host and radio broadcaster with a checkered past and a penchant for incendiary remarks. But if he's judged by the quality of people of all colors that he attracted to the Lincoln Memorial, his stock can't help but rise. One would not be able to find a more polite crowd at a political convention, certainly not at a professional sporting event, probably not even at an opera....

Only when liberals are in charge can terms like faith, hope, charity and sacred honor be classified as hate speech. Our ever increasing lexicon now includes “Becklash”; defined as an entirely irrational reaction to a TV and radio commentator’s well attended non-political Restoring Honor rally in Washington. Misery Merchant, Al Sharpton is the architect of Becklash. Always desperately seeking relevance, Sharpton saw an opportunity in exploitation when he realized that the date of Beck’s long planned event was the same date that Martin Luther King, Jr. gave his legendary “I Have a Dream” speech. Sharpton would do well to actually...

Grass Roots: The president says he didn't watch any of Glenn Beck's "Restore Honor" rally on the National Mall. That's not surprising. Democrats and the White House haven't been listening to the people for awhile. Whistling past the political graveyard looming for his party in November, President Obama dismissed the crowd gathered to hear the Fox News pundit, telling Brian Williams of the NBC Nightly News, "It's not surprising that someone like a Mr. Beck is able to stir up a certain portion of (the American people) ... " He dismissed this crowd just as he and his party dismissed...

"I — I do think that it’s important for us to recognize that right now, the country’s going through a very difficult time, as a consequence of years of neglect in a whole range of areas. Our schools not working the way they need to, so we’ve slipped in terms of the number of college graduates, you know? A financial system that was not, you know, operating in a way that maintained integrity and assured that the people who were investing or who were buying a home or were using a credit card weren’t getting in some way cheated. President Obama's top education official urged government employees to attend a rally that the Rev. Al Sharpton organized to counter a larger conservative event on the Mall. "ED staff are invited to join Secretary Arne Duncan, the Reverend Al Sharpton, and other leaders on Saturday, Aug. 28, for the 'Reclaim the Dream' rally and march," began an internal e-mail sent to more than 4,000 employees of the Department of Education on Wednesday. Sharpton created the event after Glenn Beck announced a massive Tea Party "Restoring Honor" rally at the Lincoln Memorial, where King spoke in 1963. The Washington Examiner learned...
