Slate magazine’s obituary for longtime Fox News political commentator Alan Colmes is catching considerable backlash on social media. “Alan Colmes, Buffoon and Patsy, Was Fox News’ Original Liberal Weakling,” wrote Slate’s Isaac Chotiner, a senior staff writer and former editor of The New Republic. Colmes died this week at the age of 66 due to lymphoma. “Colmes was the most absurd, useless, and mocked television personality in America for many years, precisely because he was nice. In the context of Fox News, being a nice guy — and a ‘liberal’ nice guy at that — meant being a buffoon, and...

It seems every time Alan Colmes is in a verbal dispute with any Fox News Cable Host, first thing that comes out of his mouth, it's often something like, "Look, there is no real evidence" or, "The FBI has no solid evidence on Hillary". Etc. Etc.! Have any of you taken notice of this every time Alan is arguing with Bill/Sean/Megyn ??. And in the end, Alan Colmes always winds up losing the argument and looks like a lying blockhead liberal in the end!
  • Alan Colmes Fabricates Cruz's Absence From Scalia's Funeral, Then Pretends He Wasn't Caught

Liberal Alan Colmes, apparently miffed at people who have criticized President Barack Obama for not attending the funeral of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, asserted earlier today that GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz would not be there. Colmes got it wrong. Cruz was there, and it was known for quite some time that he would be there. Since the words "I'm sorry" are apparently not in his vocabulary, he pretended that he hadn't been caught making something up.

Former Republican Rep. Ron Paul blasted the presidential hopeful, Donald Trump for being “authoritarian” on Alan Colmes’ Show recently. Paul’s comments about Trump came about when he was asked if Donald Trump was good or bad for the Republican Party, to which Paul replied, chuckling, “Well I don’t even care whether he’s good or bad for the Republican party. I don’t have much interest in that per se. But, I think he’s a dangerous person and a lot of people find him kind of funny and they love him, even libertarian types love him…” When Colmes presses Paul to explain...

After bellowing on demand for several years at MSNBC, America's version of the Russia Today television network, Ed Schultz starts work at the actual RT next week. But following his fair and balanced commentary about Donald Trump on last night's Alan Colmes radio show, Schultz might just as easily fit in at Fox News. [...] "... I don't think enough attention has been paid to actually how Trump would function as president. Let's put policies aside for a moment. Let's put aside what he believes or what he might do -- how would he do it? I think he would...

While appearing on Alan Colmes' radio show some months ago, former presidential candidate Ron Paul expressed his belief that Trump is "almost the opposite of a libertarian" candidate. Trump, according to Paul, never expresses his desire to "give you your freedom and your liberty to run your life as you choose." Rather, he in effect assures us: "I know the answers and I'm going to do this and I've done this, I've done this, this and this."Surely, Paul is on to something. That being said, the following considerations should be borne in mind. First, that Paul rejects Trump for not being a...

Speaking Wednesday on Fox News Radio’s “Alan Colmes Show,” Representative Alan Grayson (D-FL) told Colmes that he would challenge Ted Cruz should the Texas Senator get the Republican nomination. After Grayson talked about how allegedly bigoted the Republican field is, Colmes asked him for specifics.Grayson replied, and the exchange was as follows: GRAYSON: “Show me one who represents the exception here. In a sense, I guess Cruz is not technically that way, because technically, he's not even an America.”COLMES: “Well, his mother was born here…”GRAYSON: “I don't know...the Constitution says natural-born Americans, so now we're counting Canadians as natural born Americans?...

Florida Congressman Alan Grayson told radio host Alan Colmes Wednesday that if Ted Cruz is elected president, he “will file that beautiful lawsuit saying that he's unqualified for the job” according to the Constitution.Cruz was born in Canada to a native-born American mother, making the presidential candidate a dual Canadian-American citizen. It was not until a 2013 Dallas Morning News article that Cruz acknowledged his Canadian citizenry publicly. In 2014, the senator renounced his Canadian citizenship altogether.Lamenting the “appalling choices” Republicans have to choose among, Grayson told Colmes the Republican race “resolved itself into this weird reality show.”“It's not ‘The...

Rep. Alan Grayson said Wednesday that he plans to file suit if Sen. Ted Cruz, who was born in Canada, wins the Republican presidential nomination. Speaking with liberal Fox News radio host Alan Colmes, Mr. Grayson, a Florida Democrat, called the 2016 Republican presidential lineup "appalling." "It's resolved itself into this weird reality show. It's not 'The Biggest Loser' that they're choosing, it's 'The Biggest Bigot,'" he said. Mr. Colmes asked if all of the GOP candidates are bigots. "Well show me one who represents the exception here," Mr. Grayson responded. "In a sense I guess Cruz is not technically...

Now the liberal commentators are really backed into a corner when being interviewed, especially on Fox.Did anyone catch the last time Alan Colmes spoke of the Baltimore Riots? He actually had the nerve to bring up "Corporate Record Profits" as an excuse for Baltimore. Now that's a sign that they have run out of excuses, no more "Bush Excuses",No More "Global Warming" excuses, along with all of the investments for the poor. It's becoming laughable to hear the latest excuses, and they have nothing to do with what brought Baltimore down to its knees!

He also spoke at length about the criticisms he received from former Gov. Sarah Palin after his defamation lawsuit involving the family of Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, and how he felt he was perceived as a “villain” as a result: VENTURA: I see the bottom line of this is racism…We still have a racism...

In a 2010 interview, Alan Colmes talked with a KKK Grand Dragon, who would later become the Jewish Center shooter, as he was running for Senate in Missouri as a Republican–and the glimpse into the mind of this madman that the interview offers is simply horrifying. On Sunday, Frazier Glenn Miller, or Frazier Glenn Cross, murdered three people at two different Jewish centers in Overland Park, Kansas–including a man, woman, and child. He shot at two others, but they were uninjured. As he was arrested, the founder of the White Patriot Party screamed “Heil Hitler!” Frazier/Cross told Colmes, a Jewish...

...who won't bake gay wedding cake I was reading on a facebook page today: Soooo, would I be wrong to send a local KKK chapter a list of black businesses and tell them to demand that the business provide services for their next rally? What a clever question… should the government be allowed to tell business what should and shouldn’t do even if it means doing something that the business considers unethical? Alan Colmes seems to think so and be imprisoned if they don’t obey government edict. Ah, the tolerant left strikes again– Far left crank Alan Colmes argued today...

***SNIP*** Republican states have purposely and vindictively put up roadblocks to prevent its citizens from easy access to health care information as the Affordable Care Act was rolled out. They've either ignored the roll-out or encouraged people not to sign up. Missouri's lieutenant governor Peter Kinder, urged "active resistance" to the new law. This is why we have low information voters and why, according to two polls, 7% or 8% favor the Affordable Care Act over Obamacare, even though they are one and the same. ***SNIP*** Rachel Grob, Scholar-in-Residence at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, has studied how different states are...
