After a federal judge again ruled unconstitutional former President Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas says Congress must pass amnesty. This week, United States District Judge Andrew Hanen ruled DACA to be unconstitutional after first having found in 2021 that the program was illegally created by the Obama administration. The case is likely to be appealed to the Supreme Court for the third time.

After President Trump made comments over the weekend that players should be "suspended or fired" for protesting the national anthem, the Pittsburgh Steelers decided to sit out the national anthem. Head coach Mike Tomlin told reporters before Sunday's game in Chicago against the Bears that his team wouldn't be participating in the anthem because "(It's) not to be disrespectful to the anthem, but it's to remove ourselves from the circumstance. People shouldn't have to choose. If a guy wants to go about his normal business and participate for the anthem, he shouldn't have to be forced to choose sides," Tomlin...

According to law enforcement authorities they are also a one-family crime wave. They are involved in murder, money laundering, drug dealing–and they have a brother back in Lebanon who is part of Hezbollah.

The suspected head of armed Basque separatist group Eta has been arrested in northwest France, reports say. Alejandro Zobaran Arriola was among four Eta suspects held in an operation by French police near the Belgian border, Spanish national radio reports. Mr Arriola was described as the group's "new military chief". Eta's campaign for independence for the Basque region has cost more than 800 lives since 1968 but it called a halt to armed attacks last year.
