A judge on Tuesday hit former White House official Omarosa Manigault Newman with a $61,585 penalty for ignoring her duty to file a financial disclosure report after she was fired from her post as a communications aide to President Donald Trump in December 2017. U.S. District Court Judge Richard Leon rejected Manigault Newman’s claims that her firing was so abrupt that she did not have a chance to collect her personal files, which contained financial details she said were necessary for the filing.

They have no chef and they cook for themselves, often together. They make their own yogurt. On this summer morning, Rosalynn mixes pancake batter and sprinkles in blueberries grown on their land. Carter cooks them on the griddle. Then he does the dishes.

... Previously serving as Immigration Minister - where he approved a return to Britain’s much loved blue passports - popular Mr Lewis was hotly tipped for the job. But his promotion was briefly overshadowed by an embarrassing Twitter gaffe when the party’s official account announced the job had actually gone to Transport boss Chris Grayling.

Former Democrat President Jimmy Carter says he trusts the Muslim Brotherhood... But is concerned about Israel. In the face of warnings by the Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood to tear up the Arab nation’s peace treaty with Israel if U.S. aid is cut, former President Jimmy Carter, the chief negotiator of the 1978 deal, says he trusts the Islamists to do the right thing no matter what. The reason: because they told him so. In an interview with the nationally-syndicated radio show America’s Morning News, he also raised concerns about Israel’s threat to attack Iran over nuclear weapons. Asked about the direction...

The United States can no longer reign supreme as the world’s sole superpower, says Zbigniew Brzezinski, President Jimmy Carter’s National Security adviser and a prolific foreign affairs scholar. “The era of global supremacy by a major power . . . is over,” he tells Yahoo. “The world is now much more diversified. There is now the new East in Asia. There is now a globally, politically awakened population.” But that doesn’t mean the demise of the United States, as long as we’re willing to make some changes, Brzezinski, says. “We have to accustomize ourselves to that world. If we want...

The only American president to publicly support Middle Eastern terrorism has completed a schmooze fest with a communist dictator in a country that appears on the U.S. State Department’s list of terrorist-sponsoring nations. It marks the latest “humanitarian” mission for Jimmy Carter, who just a few years ago became the only American commander-in-chief to participate in a hug fest with the head of the world’s leading Middle Eastern terrorist group. During that highly-publicized Syrian jaunt, Carter met with Hamas Leader Khaled Meshal who runs his violent operation from Damascus to avoid being arrested by the Israeli government. The sophisticated...

We just don’t get it. The Left in America is screaming to high heaven that the mess we are in in Iraq and the war on terrorism has been caused by the right-wing and that George W. Bush, the so-called “dim-witted cowboy,” has created the entire mess. The truth is the entire nightmare can be traced back to the liberal democratic policies of the leftist Jimmy Carter, who created a firestorm that destabilized our greatest ally in the Muslim world, the shah of Iran, in favor of a religious fanatic, the ayatollah Khomeini. Carter viewed Khomeini as more of a...

The decision of the Norwegian Nobel Committee to award former President Jimmy Carter the Nobel Peace Prize for 2002 requires some serious review. The Committee stated that it was honoring the former president "for his decades of untiring effort to find peaceful solutions to international conflicts, to advance democracy and human rights, and to promote economic and social development." But history tells a different story - that of a political neophyte president who, when it came to conducting domestic and foreign affairs, was way out of his depth. According to Michael Schoenfeld of Commentary, who reviewed Carter's book Living Faith,...

LONDON (IRNA) -- Former National Security Adviser to the Carter Administration, Zbigniew Brzezinski, suggested Saturday that the U.S. should finally come to terms with the takeover of the American Embassy in Iran after 25 years. It is time to start closing that chapter of "humiliation" that Americans felt so strongly about instead of remaining haunted by the memories, Brzezinski said. In an interview with the Financial Times, he believed that there must eventually be "some accommodation" and that the west may even have to learn to live with Iran as a nuclear power as it did with China and later...
