First, praise to Inspector Scott. Second, the situation probably would have been the same in the US, either in gun-restricted cities, or in shopping malls that prohibit firearms.
One shot, one kill. Very good shooting from the officer. Here’s a question for the Left: Do you deplore the use of gun violence against the knife-wielding murderer?
I read NR from the early 1970s. My first subscription was comped by NR for a college student. The quality of NR then was much higher, when it was run by WFB and William Rusher. WFB was a great advocate for traditional conservatism, and a great coach to improve one’s vocabulary.
Putting aside that our Founders were brilliant, and these people are moronic political hacks . . . What happens if the popular vote total is close? You would have to recount every state, every county and every precinct in the country. The precincts and counties that went 90-10 are just as important to recount as the ones who went 50-50. With the electoral college, in a close election that is challenged, we only have to recount the states where the vote was close.
Israel made a mistake because Hamas succeeded in its strategy to make it nearly impossible to distinguish Hamas fighters from noncombatants. Who is it that used hospitals for terrorist headquarters? How many supposed humanitarian aid agencies assisted the Hamas terrorists and participated in Hamas’s war crimes?
For Israel, it was a mistake. For Hamas, it was intentional. The strategy of Hamas been to make it as difficult as possible to distinguish Hamas from noncombatants in Gaza. Don’t forget that Hamas used hospitals as military headquarters and depots.
Wait. Let me get this straight. We don’t know who these people are. Never seen them before. All here illegally, after forcibly breaching the border. And they get released without bond on their “own recognizance?”
