<p>ANALYSIS: Two days before the election, CBS posted additional portions of a Sept. 12 "60 Minutes" interview where President Obama seems to contradict himself on the Benghazi attack. As the Benghazi investigation gets more attention and focus, CBS is once again adding to the Benghazi timeline.</p>

The public understanding of when the Obama administration knew, or should have known, the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya was terrorism got even muddier Wednesday. Over the weekend the Univision network broke major news in the Fast and Furious gunwalking scandal. They found 57 previously unreported guns used in crimes by Mexican cartels, but ABC, CBS and NBC have yet to report the Spanish-language network’s findings. There were zero mentions on Sunday night’s ABC's World News and CBS's Evening News (NBC's Nightly News was pre-empted by Ryder Cup coverage) or on any of Monday’s morning shows. Could Scott Pelley possibly be this naive, or was he willingly playing the role of MSM cheerleader for the developer of the Ground Zero Mosque? In the course of a chummy interview of GZM developer Sharif El-Gamal aired on Sunday's 60 Minutes, Pelley produced a pearl. Instead of asking a probing question, the CBS "reporter" served as an advocate for El-Gamal's position when it came to the siting of the mosque. Pelley, on his own initiative, asserted: "You don't have your choice of putting this anywhere you want to. There aren't many spots." View video here.

Shahzad made at least a dozen trips back and forth between the United States and Pakistan in the last 11 years. He appeared on Traveler Enforcement Compliance System (TECS) - from 1999 to 2008 because he brought $80,000 "instruments" cash to the United States.
