Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti (D) on Friday described the Chinese coronavirus as the “greatest threat to life in Los Angeles that we have ever faced” — a description that follows his urge for residents to “cancel everything.” “So often in this crisis, it can be so confusing. Orders come down from the state, from our county. We’re not sure what they mean when they come into effect,” Garcetti said as he attempted to clarify the layers of restrictions.

It was 51 years ago this week when Che was captured and executed. His "revolution" in Bolivia failed miserably, in large part because he couldn't get local support or fight well trained soldiers. What was Che doing in Bolivia? Why did he disappear in 1965 and then show up in Bolivia? There are lots of potential reasons, as my friend Humberto Fontova wrote in his great book Exposing the Real Che Guevara and the Useful Idiots Who Idolize Him.

During the Obama presidency, many of us asked about President Obama's policies, such as closing GITMO, the one-sided opening to Cuba, the Iran deal never submitted as a treaty to the U.S. Senate, the premature withdrawal from Iraq and the fascination with meaningless climate change accords. How was any of this in the interests of the U.S.? It wasn't, but it was in the interests of Obama, or the man who longed becoming the leader of the world. My explanation was that Obama was creating the kind of resume that would make him popular in Europe and Latin America universities....

Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton was interrupted during a Wednesday night speech at a university in New York by an angry heckler who blamed her for the deaths of four Americans at the U.S. Embassy in Benghazi, Libya, on Sept. 11, 2012. "Benghazi, Benghazi, you let them die," the heckler screamed, for fully 40 seconds while Mrs. Clinton tried to ignore it and continue her speech, The Daily Mail reported.

President Obama "selective appreciation" of the First Amendment is on full display again. Check out your neighborhood music store because the dark side of "hope and change" has just been released. It's hard to believe that there is anybody out there still caught up in the "hope and change" farce. Yes, it was always a farce and the last two weeks confirm it. We learned that James Rosen of FOX News was the DOJ's latest target: "The Fox News Channel is outraged over new revelations that three of its reporting staffers were targeted by the U.S. Department of Justice in...

No, just kidding. Plenty of other people in the media can and will celebrate it this way too.

Adolf Hilter had a personal film director, Leni Riefenstahl, who made heroic films about him as propaganda for the masses. Now Obama has his own propaganda film director, Kathryn Bigelow of Sony Pictures. She will be making a film about the death of Osama bin Laden to be released by Sony Pictures one month before the election. Bigelow was given special, unprecedented access to the Navy Seals for preparation of this film. To release a film like this just before an election is unheard of in American politics. This is a obvious and arrogant plan to help Obama and to...

Obama is giving a "press conference" now on TV. This is an epic adventure in gasbaggery. He is refusing to answer questions he doesn't like. He is answering questions about Libya with incoherent bursts of temper. The highlight so far is his insistence that the meager budget cuts proposed by Repubs is "unacceptable and dangerous" and that he will not consider signing a bill that contains them. He insists that all government spending is "investment." This is pretty clear. He will not or cannot accept reality. Expect CRs to continue for the rest of the FY.

In preparation for March 21st, 2011, the Chilean resistance to the New World Order crime syndicate anticipate Obama's arrival by spreading awareness through several Joker posters all over Santiago de Chile.

As President Obama remakes his senior staff, he is also shaping a new approach for the second half of his term: to advance his agenda through executive actions he can take on his own, rather than pushing plans through an increasingly hostile Congress..."It's fair to say that the next phase is going to be less about legislative action than it is about managing the change that we've brought," White House senior advisor David Axelrod said... So the best arena for Obama to execute his plans may be his own branch of government. That means more executive orders, more use of...

News Release Statement on Cancellation of Professor William Ayers's Visit to UW March 30, 2010 -- The director of the Social Justice Research Center at the University of Wyoming cancelled the scheduled appearance of Professor William Ayers. The director announced his decision to the UW administration late Monday evening and noted there are no plans to host Professor Ayers in the future. In his communication to the administration, the director apologized to the university community for any harm that may have come to it and cited personal and professional reasons, including safety concerns, for the cancellation.
