From escaping Iran through the mountains as a Muslim refugee, to surviving domestic abuse and imprisonment in a Turkish prison, to carving out a life in Sweden, Annahita Parsan’s story is the stuff of a Hollywood movie. Parsan, a convert from Islam to Christianity and mother of two, has emerged as one of the most prominent religious figures in Europe, both because of her unlikely geographic and spiritual pilgrimage and her decision to reach out to Muslims with the gospel -- at great personal risk. The former refugee is now the leader of two congregations in Sweden. She not only...

Viktor Orbán has vowed to put “Hungary first” and fight those within the European Union who “want to change the Christian identity of Europe”. Echoing U.S. President Donald J. Trump’s “America First” rallying cry, conservative Prime Minister Orbán has hit out at Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel who said that Central European countries would be forced to accept migrants in terms described by Hungary’s ruling Fidesz party as “extortion”. “The presidency of Fidesz has discussed yesterday the announcement of the Belgian Prime Minister, that they will – if necessary with force – obligate Central European countries, including Hungary, to accept...

An analysis of surveys conducted among Muslim migrants in Europe shows that the majority of them value sharia law over national law and believe in the supremacy of Islam over other religions, according to Gatestone Institute. Citing a recent study done by Ednan Aslan, professor of Islamic Religious Education at the University of Vienna, the Institute reported that for more than 51 percent of the interviewees, the supremacy of Islam over other religions is undisputed, and 55 percent believe in hell for unbelievers. Aslan interviewed a sample of 288 of the roughly 4,000 predominantly Afghan asylum seekers in the Austrian...

The number of trials involving terror-linked radical Islamic extremists is on the rise in Germany as the German federal prosecutor announced that his office opened 1,031 investigations into Islamic extremists in 2017. The German federal prosecutor, based in the city of Karlsruhe, said of the over 1,000 preliminary investigations only two have been brought to trial so far. The prosecutor also noted that the suspects in the investigations were overwhelmingly men with only 24 of the suspects being female, Die Welt reports. Last year, Attorney General Peter Frank announced that he would be looking more deeply into investigating Islamic extremists...

How exactly did we get here? The United States has been fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq (yes, we still have troops fighting there) for 15-plus years. Those troops are saddled with more rules of engagement than you can shake a stick at (at least they were under Obama; perhaps that has eased somewhat). For some reason, Hollywood leftists love, or pretend to, "the Greatest Generation." But if you watch either of the excellent HBO miniseries Band of Brothers and The Pacific, you'll see that by today's standards, by which the left judges all history and historical figures (see the desecration...

The name Mohammed and its many spelling variations are on course to become one of the most popular names in Germany going from 97th to 26th most popular in less than a decade. According to the Gesellschaft für Deutsche Sprache (Society for German Language, GfdS), often labelled as the most important language society in Germany, the name Mohammed has seen a rapid rise in popularity, though the name could be even more popular than their figures suggest, Die Welt reports.

The category with the biggest increase was crimes against the person, with the individual crimes of fleeing...

The expected ‘Grand Coalition’ of German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s Christian Democrats (CDU) and Martin Schulz’s Social Democrats (SPD) have declared the migrant crisis to be “over” and agreed to let in up to 220,000 migrants each year. The two parties have agreed to allow between 180,000 to 220,000 migrants per year, claiming their plans will control migration in such a way that “a situation like 2015 is not repeated”, Die Welt reports. Around 1,000 migrants will be allowed into Germany per month as part of the family reunification programme thanks to lobbying by Schulz — a former President of the...

The German Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) has released new figures showing that around 43,000 individuals engaged in integration courses are unable to read or write at all. The number of people enrolled in the special courses is an increase of 10 per cent since the same time last year. Although class sizes are small and...

The Viségrad nations of Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia have been criticised and threatened with sanctions by the progressive, arch-federalist European Union (EU) in 2017. Refusing to capitulate on issues of sovereignty, faith, culture, and mass migration, they relied on their eastern resilence and rejected the bloc’s censure and demands, opting to put the rights and well-being of their people first. Here are 10 times Central Europe stood up to the EU in 2017 – 1 – Rejecting the mandatory migrant distribution plan 2 – Opposing managed mass migration from the Third World 3 – Saying ‘no’ to...

A soaring number of Muslims, many of them refugees from Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan, are converting to Christianity, breathing new life into Europe’s once floundering Christian churches. The Muslims are flocking to various Christian denominations, experts said, including becoming Protestants, evangelical or Catholic. As many parts of Europe are becoming more secular and houses of worship are seeing congregants leave in droves, it is Muslim converts who are reviving struggling Christian churches. "European churches have struggled for decades to share the gospel with modern secular Europeans,” Matthew Kaemingk, a professor at the Fuller Theological Seminary in Seattle, told Fox News....

Parts of London are being labelled ‘no-go zones’ for delivery drivers because of the volume of acid and knife attacks. Hackney, Camden, Stoke Newington, Bethnal Green, Stratford and Elephant & Castle were also listed among the danger zones. London has a higher number of acid attacks per person than any city in the world. According to The Sun, delivery drivers are now slashing their hours and refusing to operate in parts of the capital – gangs are targeting them for their mopeds, holding them up at knife point or spraying acid in their faces. It’s absolutely shocking that in Britain’s...

German domestic intelligence has warned of a growing number of Islamic extremist women who are taking over the Salafist scene, as their men head to prison, and are radicalising the next generation of young jihadis. The Agency for the Protection of the Constitution in North Rhine-Westphalia claims that the Islamic extremist scene is becoming increasingly more influenced by women. Burkhard Freier, head of the regional branch of the agency, said that the women have come into prominence and they have at least 40 female radicals under observation, Die Welt reports. “The men have realised that women can network much better...

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said that Europeans are “asserting their will” by supporting leaders who reject mass migration and support Christian foundations, and gave a warning to politicians who deny the “natural order of democracy”. The conservative Fidesz party leader told Kossuth Radio’s listeners that 2.3 million Hungarians took part in the national consultation against the George Soros-backed pro-mass migration plan, and Mr. Orbán now intends to spend the next few months convincing his opponents that Europe is right to protect her borders and her culture. Asked by the 180 Minutes host what made him think that after two...

Seven mayors from France called on President Emmanuel Macron to step in and help them deal with the flow of (illegal) immigrants from Africa and the Middle East. French daily Le Monde published a letter written by the mayors of Strasbourg, Grenoble, Rennes, Nantes, Toulouse, Lille, and Bordeaux. In the letter, the mayors say that they are forced to take in "several thousand" refugees every month. This tsunami is creating massive social problems, they go on to explain. They feel that they're "backed up against a wall" and "completely saturated." The mayors want Macron to establish a "solidarity network" between...

The increasing costs of population growth in Sweden, driven almost entirely mass migration, have forced the government to seriously consider raising the national retirement age to pay for the additional costs. Swedish Socialist party Finance Minister Magdalena Andersson announced that the retirement age would likely be raised in the near future in order to offset increased welfare costs, Swedish newspaper Expressen reports. “Looking at those who start working at 30, there should be opportunities to work longer than 65,” Andersson said. The minister made her remarks following an economic report from the Local Authorities and County Council (SKL) released earlier...
