The U.S. Department of Defense made a formal referral to the Department of Justice after planning documents relating to the war in Ukraine leaked online. Military documents containing sensitive information about U.S. and NATO material supporting the Ukraine military in their fight against Russian forces began appearing on social media. "We are aware of the reports of social media posts, and the Department is reviewing the matter," Sabrina Singh, Pentagon deputy press secretary, said Friday morning. Friday night, Singh said the DOD has made a referral to the DOJ regarding the leak.

Make no mistake, if you or I robbed a bank would we keep the money if caught? In a word, NO! For CNN to say it is a “moot point” whether or not Barack Hussein Obama AKA Barry Soetoro / Soebarkah is eligible to hold the Office of the United States Presidency is a travesty to the nation! CNN is fully aware that an official law enforcement investigation spanning more than 23 months by the duly authorized Cold Case Posse for the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Department in Arizona led by the Constitutionally elected Sheriff Joe Arpaio has determined that the...

President Obama, with his back-to-back statements on the proposed mosque at Ground Zero, has managed to get himself in a position where Sarah Palin has both the high ground and the practical route to progress. At the Iftar dinner at the White House, the president endorsed the constitutional rights of all religions in America to build houses of worship where they want to on private property. He spoke with his trademark eloquence, but he was off the point. So, as he toured the Gulf Coast, he took a powder, explaining that he was not commenting on what he called “the...

Her confirmation assured, Elena Kagan is on the brink of becoming the fourth woman ever to serve as a Supreme Court justice. The Senate is set Thursday to confirm President Barack Obama's nominee, whose addition to the court will mark the first time three female justices have served concurrently. Nearly all Democrats, the Senate's two independents and a handful of Republicans are backing her. The vote is to be one of the Senate's last actions before its members depart for a monthlong vacation. Republicans have harshly criticized Kagan, 50, as a political activist who would be unable to put...

In what has been described as one of the biggest heists in American history, the Empire State Building was reportedly stolen this week by a New York City newspaper in less than 90 minutes. The New York Daily News drew up fake documents, created a bogus notary stamp and filed paperwork with the city and successfully took ownership of the $2 billion property on Monday.

A string of lies to city, state and federal authorities placed Dolores Rodriguez LaFlamme in a sensitive job at the state Division of Motor Vehicles, through which she allegedly helped drug dealers and illegal immigrants get the valid licenses they needed to hide their identities. She lied first to the city, when she obtained a license to marry a convicted heroin dealer solely to stay in the country. She lied to the state by checking off “U.S. citizen” on her DMV job application. She lied to federal Homeland Security officials when she told them her marriage was real. Three years...

The head of a Mexican forgery ring was convinced he could make phony documents that illegal aliens could use to indicate fraudulently that they were eligible for a new amnesty, says a government affidavit recounting wiretapped phone calls the man made. Julio Leija-Sanchez, who ran a $3 million-a-year forgery operation before he was arrested in April, was expecting Congress to pass a legalization program, which he called "amnesty," and said he could forge documents to fool the U.S. government into believing illegal aliens were in the country in time to qualify for amnesty, a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)...

More than 1,700 illegal immigrants have been caught attempting to pass fake documents at state driver's licenses offices in the first month after a tough immigration law went into effect, according to a state official. "We're seeing evidence of individuals trying to slip through the cracks," said Michael Cooke, executive director of the Colorado Department of Revenue. Colorado's new anti-illegal immigration laws passed by the legislature this summer set up a strict identification check meant to deny most public services to undocumented adult immigrants. As residents come into DMV offices to get state ID cards or driver's licenses, they're asked...

To the laborers sitting in the waiting room of a temp agency in Elizabeth, she is simply "La Se ñora." She's the woman to see for a warehouse or manufacturing job at plants just a short drive away. Even at agencies that hire temporary workers, it is against the law to hire people who entered the country illegally. Federal laws re quire employers to verify a worker's status with identity and work authorization documents, such as a Social Security card, before they hire someone. But in May, Dilcia "Dee" Mem breno at Nielsen Staffing Services -- La Señora --made an...

Federal agents have closed up shop for what they say are eight members of an illegal alien fake-document ring that for years has sold out of an Adams Morgan apartment phony driver's licenses, work papers and green cards to other illegals. The ring -- thought to be linked to an international organization run by the Castorena-Ibarra family whose kingpin was captured in Mexico this week -- was raided early Tuesday as part of Operation Card Shark, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) initiative that began in 2002. The investigation has dismantled three other counterfeit document rings and arrested 195 persons...

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee's driving certificate for illegal immigrants isn't valid as a form of ID, but people are paying hundreds of dollars on the black market and traveling hundreds of miles to get one. Tennessee has issued more than 51,000 certificates since it became the first state to offer them in July 2004, but not every certificate has gone to someone living there. Two major federal arrests in recent months exposed shuttles bringing South and Central American immigrants from as far away as New Jersey to state licensing centers in Knoxville, where the immigrants got certificates using fake residency...

A set-up? Two years ago Seymour Hersh ,in a usual anti-Bush article, offered up this interesting nugget about the “forged documents” which I think are the true target of the Wilson/Plame investigation. I give his report no particular credence but thought it might be of interest to readers: Another explanation was provided by a former senior C.I.A. officer. He had begun talking to me about the Niger papers in March, when I first wrote about the forgery, and said, “Somebody deliberately let something false get in there.” He became more forthcoming in subsequent months, eventually saying that a small group...

A Pakistani citizen whose name surfaced in a terrorism-related database after he was picked up in a routine traffic stop in Baltimore County will face federal charges this morning of selling fake immigration documents, officials said. Muhammad Asif Haider, 27, of New York City remained in federal custody yesterday awaiting his hearing in U.S. District Court in Baltimore. -----snip----- Haider was listed in the FBI's Violent Gang and Terrorist Organization file, according to law enforcement officials, but it was unclear why. ----snip---- But officials privately downplayed the significance of his arrest, saying that they didn't believe he posed a likely...
