I'm glad to see JR is backing the free speech for Alex Jones regardless of his controversial views. So here are the links where you can not only watch Infowars but you can also find other uncensorable free speech videos. This is very important because abhorrent speech should not be censored but should be countered with better speech. Some of these sites are blockchain based and completely uncensorable. Free speech social media platform Gab.ai has rebranded as Gab.com and aims to become a tech hub for “liberty-minded tech startups” that wish to avoid connections to leftist Silicon Valley groups. Gab.ai, the free-speech themed social media platform founded by CEO Andrew Torba, has long aimed to act as an alternative to sites such as Twitter and Facebook. Now Gab is rebranding as Gab.com and aims to provide an infrastructure for tech developers that wish to grow their own platforms and products without being forced to go through leftist companies based in Silicon Valley. Andrew Torba spoke to Breitbart News...

A federal appeals court on Tuesday tossed out a lawsuit that claimed President Trump incited a riot when he ordered three protesters to be removed from a rally in Kentucky during the 2016 presidential campaign. A three-judge panel on the 6 th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said the three demonstrators didn’t state a valid claim under state law and found Trump’s comments were protected by the First Amendment, since he “did not specifically advocate imminent lawless action.” "In the ears of some supporters, Trump’s words may have had a tendency to elicit a physical response, in the event a...

It’s been over a year and a half since Obama left office, but it still bothers me hearing him speak. Between his trying to take credit for the Trump economy and his claim that he, unlike Trump, didn’t “threaten the freedom of the press,” it's hard not to get angry when he speaks because virtually everything he says is a lie. His trying to take credit for Trump's economy was pathetic, but his claim that he was not an enemy of the free press deserves to be called out. “It shouldn’t be Democratic or Republican to say that we don’t...

In 2015, Greg Lukianoff (president of the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education) and Jonathan Haidt (professor of ethical leadership at New York University’s Stern School of Business) wrote an article for The Atlantic entitled “The Coddling of the American Mind.” In that article, the authors argued that students (college but also pre-college) increasingly react to words, books, images, and speakers with fear and anger because they’ve been taught to exaggerate danger, to let their emotions rule, and to engage in binary thinking. It proved to be one of the most read and discussed articles ever published by the magazine....

Our attempts this week to put up ads on Facebook produced some disturbing results. Facebook treated a news link from Fox News and a link to our website very differently, even though both contained the same information. We have previously been prevented many times from linking to our Fox News opinion pieces, but we hadn’t thought about the issue of systematic bias against Fox News until the events of this week.

Politicians aren't saviors or messiahs.  Devoutly secular worship of government – the belief that the State (capital S) is God – is inherent in the Democratic Party's ideology and marketing. At the risk of belying my adamant opposition to idolatry, I implore President Trump to save free speech on the internet. The president has been busy keeping many of the promises he made as a candidate, so perhaps my request is unfair.  I'm mindful, however, that he has similarly ambitious and entrepreneurial children, who are active on social media. Politics is sales, and here's my pitch. Americans Are Powerless From Dennis Prager to...

President Donald Trump continued challenging big tech companies on Tuesday, warning them about censoring content from conservatives. “I think what Google and what others are doing – if you look at what is going on with Twitter and if you look at what’s going on in Facebook, they better be careful because you can’t do that to people,” Trump said. “You can’t do it.”

Recent First Amendment rulings by the Supreme Court could force courts and university administrators to take a closer look at controversial practices that have marginalized certain political views – often conservative ones – on campus. Free speech on campus has emerged as a hot debate in recent years, amid a rash of speakers being disinvited or violently protested. These issues are often handled in-house – but now, the courts could hold sway. “We should expect college campuses to truly be marketplaces of ideas where students learn to value free speech and open inquiry and take that lesson with them as...

Americans from across the political spectrum are beginning to realize that unaccountable tech oligarchs are no better enforcers of political morality than a government censor. Twitter does not discriminate against conservative viewpoints. That’s the story the social media giant desperately wants to tell — from their CEO Jack Dorsey’s interviews, to their employees tasked with outreach to conservatives in their Washington offices. Literally, it’s true. The complete picture, however, is less flattering to the social media giant.

YouTube just added an "information panel" to all my videos about climate change. We at Stossel TV do weekly videos on many controversial topics, but apparently YouTube thinks climate change is special. The information panel seems benign -- just a link to a Wikipedia page about global warming -- and YouTube puts it on all climate change videos. But Wikipedia's page was captured by activists. It's biased in favor of desperate alarmism. You'd have to read carefully to know that the billions we're spending now to fight climate change will make little difference. The YouTube information panel doesn't mention the Climategate scandal in which...

Editor's note: This column was co-authored by Calvin Beisner.Curiously, the mainstream media seem to have ignored the story, but it’s an important one. Buzzfeed reported August 7 that “YouTube Is Fighting Back Against Climate Misinformation.”As of July 9, “YouTube is now adding fact checks to videos that question climate change … as a part of its ongoing effort to combat the rampant misinformation and conspiratorial fodder on its platform.”But neither YouTube nor Wikipedia, the source of its “fact check,” is qualified to function as unassailable arbiter calling balls and strikes over what is or isn’t fact in any given field of...

Under the auspices of making moves to block election interference from outside interests the government of Justin from Canada is moving to block internet content critical of Trudeau and his policies. Simultaneously and ironically, the same Canadian government is spending millions lobbying U.S. politicians in Washington DC to retain their one-sided NAFTA trade benefits. Funny that, eh?

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey said on Saturday that he "fully admit[s]" Twitter employees share a largely left-leaning bias after facing accusations that conservatives are discriminated against on the social media platform. In an interview that aired Saturday on CNN, Dorsey said his company has a responsibility to be open about its political viewpoints, but to operate without bias when applying content policies to users. "We need to constantly show that we are not adding our own bias, which I fully admit is...is more left-leaning," Dorsey says. "But the real question behind the question is, are we doing something according to...

Hot off the wires. It turns out that they're not going to stop at purging Alex Jones. Who would've thought?

In a column criticizing Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey’s decision not to ban Alex Jones from the social media site, a writer for The Verge attacked the principle of free speech as “dangerously naive.” Laura Hudson, The Verge’s culture editor, said Twitter is wrong to believe that a free marketplace of ideas is sufficient to push back against harmful conspiracy theories. “Who doesn’t want to think that the truth will always win in the end, that information not only wants to be free, but that this freedom will lead us toward a more just world — especially when it is your...

Microsoft Azure, the web hosting provider for Gab, has given the company 48 hours to delete some anti-Semitic posts or face a Big Tech shut-down. Gab is a Twitter alternative that claims to protect the right to free speech.

Of course, Facebook, YouTube and other media are free to ban conspiracy-mongers such as Alex Jones from their platforms. They have a right to dictate the contours of permissible speech on their sites and to enforce those standards dutifully or hypocritically or ideologically, using any method they see fit. No one seriously disputes this. Twitter also has a right, as a private entity, to take a stand and, as the company's CEO, Jack Dorsey. explains it, dispassionately allow free exchanges of ideas -- even the ugly ones Jones' Infowars offers -- as long as users don't break the company's rules....

American liberals have always professed to believe in tolerance, diversity, and freedom of speech. However, today’s reality is very different. As the Left gained control of the commanding heights of culture and increasingly business across the nation, the new liberal philosophy became freedom for me but not for thee. Consider the saga of Alex Jones, the radio talk show host who manages the website Infowars.com. He is controversial, to say the least, having pushed various conspiracy theories. But then, some left-wing activists attack anyone to the right of Hillary Clinton as a racist and fascist. Apple, Facebook, Spotify, and YouTube...
