A 1911-style Guy Sounds Off Against A Glock Guy The question of classic or plastic bubbles into conversation more often than not. Some guys are staunch supporters of the classic 1911-style .45 pistol. Notice I said “style.” You see, the 1911 (A1) has been around for over a century. Many manufacturers have their own 1911 pistol. Some are like the original, single-stacked single actions carried cocked and locked. Others are double stacked with a double action only trigger system. Is one better than the other? You can come to your own opinion on that, but here’s a little piece of...

Its back to work for the new year, but its only Humpday. And, its really dragging, my trigger finger is itching to get back out on the range, must be withdrawals. For this fellow gun hobbyist, he already beat me to the range and has a new trick with his Glock. What he does is put a round on top of the slide (locked back) of the glock. While holding it, he tosses the round up into the air and have it land into the open port. Release the slide forward to rack one into the chamber and fires a...

When it comes to a subcompact Glock, the countless debate seems to be Glock 43 vs Glock 26. Both Glocks have lots to offer the person who carries it which has led to both becoming a very popular CCW gun. which is better? This is going to be hard to nail down. The differences between the two are rather slight on paper, but in the real world can add up to some fairly significant differences. When viewing side-to-side, what do you see? The specs between the two are not much differences in the length and weight. You can acquire after...

Here’s an inside look at the Glock 18C which was designed for the Austrian Counter-Terrorist Unit (EAO Cobra). This 18C series means its compensated with features like this: -Keystone cut at the top of slide near the front with 4 slots angle towards the barrel. -a pocket back at the top near the rear of the slide to make this gun run fast. With a cyclic rate of fire that runs as fast as 1,200 rounds-per-minute, the slide of the G18C can sometimes jog so fast that it can outrun the magazine. A true machine pistol and not a conversion...

Looking To Make Your Glock Fully Auto? Amazon Has An ILLEGAL Full Auto Conversion kit. On Amazon there's a seller selling something that looks to be an illegal full auto conversion sear. I guess if you want to make your Glock full auto and didn’t know any better, it might be kind of hard to resist adding the $68 part to your cart and clicking that check out button. If this part fits a Glock slide like I suspect it does, it is HIGHLY illegal. If its something too good to be true go to the ATF site to look...

Glock pistols have a reputation for being indestructible. These Glocks obviously never got that memo. These fails might give you nightmares.

Glock handguns are like any other weapon that tries to harness the power of an explosion, and they can be prone to damage on occasion. If firing only lead ammunition through a Glock factory barrel, the polygonal rifling can get clogged and increase pressures to dangerous levels. Reloaded ammunition might be badly overloaded.

Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, right? Well, in this case, this homemade pistol is quite blasphemy to many Glock enthusiasts. Witness for yourself the homemade Glock that is nothing short of dismal. These photos were shared on an all-Russian forum. Somewhere in Russia, one basement tinkerer is very proud of his creation. From a distance it resembles a beat up that just got runned over Glock pistol. Note it lacks the Glock Safety Trigger. See the rest of this DIY glock here.

Should it matter? There have been some discussions on the internet about Glock plastic sights as to whether its useful or not. Yes, many will customize it with other aftermarket sights. But is there really something wrong with having plastic sights on the Glocks? Some are saying that it can be ripped off, what when you’re low crawling? Low light condition? There’s some points there, but don’t the sights still work? Here’s some of that conversation on Reddit & Facebook: GoodGuyGlockerG17: It’s a matter of personal opinion, of course. I really dislike them. To me, there’s nothing about the dot...

This fun picture of the day LEGO .40 caliber Glock has been floating around the internet so we're going to take a shot at it. Grabbed some .40 S&W brass and some spare LEGO heads. Perfect fit into the casing. Even fits the Glock22 and Glock35 magazines. Just to see if it would eject, released the slide and the Lego cartridge chambered without any deformation of the Lego head. Sometime in the future may try loading these and load a primer to see if it will propel the LEGO head out the barrel. The LEGO head is too wide to...

Word (from The Firearm Blog) has it that Glocks cannot get over losing the XM17 Modular Handgun System contract to Sig Sauer. More rumors are getting around stating that Sig Sauer was basically handed the contract. The XM17 tests were a huge differences to the M9 tests of the 1980s. The M9 tests were very in-depth,and the results were talked about for years by various gun publications. From reading everything we can tell the 1980s about the M9 project, there seem to be several major fallacies with the M17 test. If we look at the fallacies, the chances of Glock...

If you're into short barrel and Glocks then you may want to get a modifying kit for the Glock. CAA has a conversion kit that converts your Glock into a carbine. (sort of) Its aluminum and polymer RONI unit doesn't add any barrel length, the pistol is encapsulated, has an adjustable stock with cheekplate, a vertical foregrip and has lots of rail space for optics and a tactical light. Buttstock has the ability to store an extra magazine. What do you all think, is it worth getting one? See the Micro Roni footage here.

What would those three guns be? Jerry Miculek had a chance to voice his response on the subject. Wait, before we get to the guns, just to clarify that we’re talking about having these three guns for survival. Some folks have talked about the .357 revolver as a primary SHTF in many internet forums and this has stirred up the hornet’s nest. Mainly due to the age demographics, for instances, folks that are from the older generation would agree with the .357 revolver. Where the younger millennium generation will stick with the striker based handguns like the Glocks in 9mm....

Senator Nelson from Florida has filed a restrictive bill that would stifle innovation and experimentation, without significantly impacting terrorists or criminals. Interestingly, a complete exemption would be included for the U.S. government and agencies. The bill is titled the “Undetectable Firearms Modernization Act of 2017“. Nelson mis-characterizes the state of the art with this falsehood: “Thanks to advances in technology, anyone with a 3-D printer can simply print a fully-functioning firearm that can be snuck through a metal detector without being noticed,” Nelson said. “These guns pose a real threat to our safety and we need to be doing...

This Glock lover is sporting dual handguns, in the left hand is a Glock17 (9mm) and a Gen4 FDE Glock21 45ACP in the right hand. Watch as he unloads both with high capacity magazines in dual quiet gangster fashion. Its amazing to see and hear the majority of gun noise are coming from others blasting away. See the footage here.
