The first Muslim to deliver the daily prayer to the U.S. House of Representatives was black convert Siraj Wahaj in 1991. .... Later, in 1995, he was a character witness for Omar Abdel Rahman, or blind sheikh, who was found guilty of conspiracy to overthrow the American government. The U.S. attorney for New York even listed Wahaj as an “unindicted persons who may be alleged as co-conspirators” in that case. Yet, none of that seems to matter to Democrats intent on focusing on Islam as part of their party’s upcoming national convention with an event, “Jumah at the 2012 DNC.”...

The Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is pressuring public schools in this country to make special accommodations for Muslim students and to deny comparable accommodations for students of other faiths. For example, CAIR’s instructional material for teachers entitled “An Educator’s Guide to Islamic Religious Practices” advises schools to permit Muslim students who wish to attend Friday congregational worship (known as Jum’ah) to “request a temporary release from school.” In Michigan, CAIR went beyond dispensing general advice from its guidebook. In April, 2013, it pushed for public schools in Dearborn, Michigan to accommodate Muslim students who wish to comfortably...

Nice prayer service, Democrats. A Muslim leader wears a tattered and torn US flag as a scarf at the Jumah at the DNC event today in Charlotte. Muslims gather for outdoor “Jumah” prayers at Marshall Park in Charlotte, N.C., on Friday, the first of several events planned by the Bureau of Indigenous Muslim Affairs in the run up to the Democratic National Convention in the city. (MSNBC) Of course, the women were lined up behind the men. It’s the DNC’s very own War on Women. The Obama Campaign listed an “Islamic Jumah at the DNC” as an “official function” at...

Organizers at the Bureau of Indigenous Muslim Affairs anticipated crowds at yesterday's "Jumah at the DNC" event in Charlotte, North Carolina would reach 20,000. Instead, only 300 Muslims showed up for the open air prayer ceremony. The event had been listed on the schedule of events that were part of the officially sanctioned DNC/Charlotte in 2012 Host Committee's website. But less than 24 hours before "Jumah at the DNC" was held, nervous officials at the Host Committee quietly removed it from the list of officially sanctioned DNC pre-convention events. As Jim Hoft reported at TownHall.com last night: [T]he Jumah event...

CHARLOTTE, N.C. As several hundred Muslims gathered for a traditional Jumah prayer Friday afternoon in Marshall Park, members of a Christian group carried signs – “Jesus is the Way” and “Islam is a Lie” – and played Christian music that could be heard throughout the park. Despite the protest, the event unfolded peacefully as Muslim men and women, many wearing long robes and turbans or head scarves, sat on rugs on the grass or in folding chairs, facing toward Mecca, the holiest city in Islam. Rev. Phillip “Flip” Benham of Concord-based Operation Save America, an anti-abortion group, and a handful...

"Jumma at the DNC" has just been removed from the DNC website! It was still there 5.30 PM on 8/30/2012 and at 6.30 PM it was gone! I looked everywhere but it's not listed anymore. Looks like the DNC are getting cold feet!"

What is going on in the Democratic Party? Have they abandoned all logic? It appears they will not deal with the issues that are facing this country at all costs. Any topic that clouds the issue is being explored as a topic at the Democratic Convention. The state of North Carolina defeated the “Same Sex Marriage” proposal, but the Democratic Party is including it in their agenda and is giving a lot of time to “free thinking” women. Obama has done such a miserable job with the economy that they have to stay away from anything economic. The administration has...

Once again the Demcorats prove that they are the party of the enemy, the traitor, the jihad. Despite public outcry, the jihadist Jumah will tale place at the DNC. The event has in its crosshairs the Patriot Act, the NYPD, the National Defense Authorization Act, and anti-Shariah sentiment. "I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction." Barack Hussein Obama, page 261, The Audacity of Hope A couple of weeks back, I posted about the Jumah jihad at the DNC, an event led by an imam who urged the overthrow of the "filthy" U.S. government...

The host committee for the Democratic National Convention is raising a number of eyebrows after choosing to proceed with featuring Islamic “Jumah” prayers for two hours on the Friday of its convention, though Democrats earlier denied a Catholic cardinal’s request to say a prayer at the same event.

The host committee for the Democratic National Convention is raising a number of eyebrows after choosing to proceed with featuring Islamic “Jumah” prayers for two hours on the Friday of its convention, though Democrats earlier denied a Catholic cardinal’s request to say a prayer at the same event. Up to 20,000 people are expected to attend the Friday prayers and Jibril Hough, a spokesman for the Bureau of Indigenous Muslim Affairs (BIMA), said the purpose of the event is to hold political parties accountable for the issues faced by Muslim-Americans. In particular, the event will target the Patriot Act, the...

SNIPPET: "U.S. counterterrorism officials have linked one of the nation's most wanted terrorists to last year's thwarted plot to bomb the New York City subway system, authorities said Wednesday. Current and former counterterrorism officials said top al-Qaida operative Adnan Shukrijumah met with one of the would-be suicide bombers in a plot that Attorney General Eric Holder called one of the most dangerous since the 9/11 terror attacks."

A Mystery Man Who Keeps the FBI Up at Night Officials hunting virtually full time for a Florida computer technician see him as the ultimate 'sleeper agent' in the post-9/11 world. By Josh Meyer Times Staff Writer September 3, 2006 CHARLIEVILLE, Trinidad and Tobago — Five years ago, as 19 Al Qaeda operatives in the United States put the finishing touches on what would become the Sept. 11 attacks, a frail, asthmatic computer engineer from South Florida paid a visit to this tiny Muslim enclave where he'd lived as a boy. Adnan Gulshair Muhammad el Shukrijumah, then 25, kept a...

The suspected spiritual leader of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi's Tawhid and Jihad group has been killed in a US air strike in Iraq, reports say. Sheikh Abu Anas al-Shami was killed when a missile hit his car on Friday, according to relatives in Jordan. The sheikh is believed to have written the group's fatwas or religious rulings and Mr Zarqawi's speeches. Mr Zarqawi, the most wanted man in Iraq, heads the group thought to have killed two US hostages since Monday. The US military had said it conducted a "successful precision strike" west of Baghdad on Friday, targeting a gathering of...

Two men wanted in connection with a FBI’s terrorism investigation may have been seen in Naples, Maine — about 30 miles from Conway, N.H. The Federal Bureau of Investigation issued an alert Thursday that said a witness saw two men Sunday who fit the description of Adnan G. El Shukrijumah, 27, and Abderraouf Jdey, 38, two men they are seeking for questioning. The men were reportedly headed south on Route 302 at around 4 p.m. in a newer model, slate gray BMW sedan with Massachusetts license plates.
