Mark Cuban made a mistake Monday afternoon. A TMZ camera found him outside a restaurant in California, and the Mavs owner actually stopped and talked to the paparazzo. Quickly, Cuban was talking about the Red Hen restaurant in Virginia and its decision to deny service to White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Although he likely didn't know it at the time, Cuban was about to stir up Trump Twitter, a group that's never met a stupid fight it didn't like. Here's what Cuban said with regard to the restaurant. “It’s a good question. You can make an argument on...
  • Texans Need Advice for Tomorrow Night (NBA Finals)

Looking for advice...Those of us in Texas have no experience in Rioting. There is a really good chance that the Mavs will finish off the Heat tomorrow night and I'm really worried that us Texans will just look foolish trying to Riot with no experience at it. I'm afraid it will be embarrassing, most of us will try to buy Flat Screens, storm a Wal-Mart with coupons, pick up trash instead of dumping it on the streets, and the minute the cops tell us to disperse we're all going to do it...It will just be silly, if we start any...

So I was a Dallas Mavericks fanatic for 26 years, and swore off the NBA after ( my own thoughts ) the 2006 Finals manipulations. I was no longer willing to pour my emotion and time into what I considered a fixed enterprise.

The Spurs moved on, and Dallas is done early again. Manu Ginobili scored 26 points and host San Antonio survived blowing a 22-point lead to beat the Mavericks, 97-87, in Game 6 last night, handing Dirk Nowitzki and second-seeded Dallas another first-round exit. The Spurs got payback after the Mavericks eliminated them a year ago, and will play Phoenix in the Western Conference semifinals. “For us there was no tomorrow,’’ Ginobili said after the Spurs finished off the Mavericks in front of a raucous home crowd and avoided going back to Dallas for Game 7. Nowitzki nearly carried the Mavericks...

SNIPPET: "FrontPage Interview’s guest today is Ben R. Furman, the FBI's Former Counterterrorism Chief." SNIPPET: "FP: Aren’t we giving the terrorists ideas by talking about this? Furman: Initially I wondered if talking openly about this danger was a good idea. Wouldn’t it be a “heads up” for terrorists? No. A thorough library check and Internet and blog searches revealed the technology wafted out of the genie’s bottle some time ago, and even with technology that advances in quantum leaps, someone is keeping pace and reporting or commenting about it real-time. Chat rooms, YouTube and FaceBook are heavily peppered with “how...

Ron Fearing has the future of warfare at the tip of his finger (photo of a fly-sized winged-vehicle the size of a paper-clip). It isn’t pressing on the trigger of a laser death ray or button of a doomsday device. It’s holding a stubby-winged mechanical bug. “Flies are one of the most stable and maneuverable of all flying animals,” says the University of California at Berkeley biologist. “They are the jet fighters of the animal world.” The Pentagon shares this opinion and wants to turn these Bizzaro World duplicates of houseflies into real jet fighters. The Berkeley team is one...
