President George W. Bush and his wife Laura Bush will attend President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration this month. In a statement Tuesday, the former president’s office said the Bushes are “pleased to be able to witness the peaceful transfer of power — a hallmark of American democracy — and swearing-in of President Trump and Vice President Pence.” The decision makes Bush the second living president to attend Trump's inauguration ceremonies.
