The retired St. Louis police captain was shot to death early Tuesday during a violent night of protests in which four active St. Louis police officers were also shot. I am interested in buying two firearms: a handgun, and a short-barrel shotgun, for personal protection and for sport. From what I've read, handgun design for the mid and upper-end prices have improved significantly over the past several years. The Luago Alien looks like a beautiful gun, with all the features I'm looking for. At $5K, it's pricey. The Sig Sauer M400 and CZ75 Czechmate look great, too. All are red-dot ready.
