Tim Allen joins docudrama taking down PC culture By Marisa Schultz Posted By Ruth King on February 3rd, 2018 https://nypost.com/2018/01/29/tim-allen-joins-docudrama-taking-down-pc-culture/ WASHINGTON – Actor Tim Allen has joined the cast of new movie aimed at disrupting the liberal and PC culture in Hollywood, on college campuses and in comedy. Allen’s “Last Man Standing” sitcom was canceled last year and outraged fans believe ABC pulled the plug because the family comedy highlighted conservative values. ABC denied it was over politics. Allen has signed onto the docudrama “No Safe Spaces” that’s expected to hit theaters in the fall. Fellow comedian Adam Carolla and...

Jim Caviezel, who stunned the world with his portrayal of Jesus in the 2004 blockbuster “The Passion of the Christ,” is now confirming he’s on board with director Mel Gibson for a sequel, and predicts it will be “the biggest film in history.” “There are things that I cannot say that will shock the audience,” the 49-year-old actor told USA Today. “It’s great. Stay tuned.” Both Gibson and Caviezel have not said much about the story focusing on the resurrection of Christ, but the star indicated he’s encouraged by the direction the project is taking. “I won’t tell you how...

There’s a scary new horror flick on the horizon and it’s generating huge buzz off its debut at a film festival. The British newspaper The Independent says it’s, “unanimously touted as the scariest (movie) in years following its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival.” It’s called Hereditary and it’s a new entry from the same folks (distribution company called A24) that brought you ‘The...

Bruckheimer’s latest project is “12 Strong,” which was inspired by the first U.S. Special Forces that were sent to Afghanistan in the weeks after the September 11th terror attack. It’s a tale that was kept under wraps until Doug Stanton’s book “Horse Soldiers” was published in 2009.

It is almost as though Joey Gargan decided to slip away before anyone noticed. And the funny thing about it is that he succeeded. So, Ted Kennedy cousin Joseph F. “Joey” Gargan, who was Kennedy’s close companion, won’t be around to answer any questions about “Chappaquiddick,” the upcoming film about the late Sen. Ted Kennedy and the death of Mary Jo Kopechne. Joey, 87, who was at Kennedy’s side that fateful night, died at his Virginia home December 12 and hardly anybody made the connection to Kennedy and Chappaquiddick

Wondering what movies can be recommended for Christmas Day.

Well, one of my favorites. It is the story from WW2 and the Battle of the Bulge where US and Germans got together.

SNOW QUEEN - 1959 Christmas Special A very sentimental Christmas introduction by Art Linkletter. Features the voices of Sandra Dee, Louise Arthur, Tommy Kirk and Paul Frees. Based on a story by Hans Christian Andersen.

The Night Before Christmas (1946) Live Action Film & Animation The Night Before Christmas (1946) or "A Visit From St. Nicholas" Mostly live action with animated parts. Narrated tale of the perennial classic poem. "A Visit from St. Nicholas" (also known as "The Night Before Christmas" and "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" from its first line) is a poem written by Clement Clarke Moore, first published anonymously in 1823. It is largely responsible for the conception of Santa Claus from the mid-nineteenth century to today, including his physical appearance, the night of his visit, his mode of transportation, the number...

Recently we went to see The Star. It’s a retelling of the Nativity story from the perspective of the animals. While faithful to the mainstream Christian telling of the story, it puts a humorous spin on the familiar story, attempting to make it lighthearted. The movie starts at “Nine months B.C.” It shows an angel telling Mary that she is to bear a child. The message is overheard by a mouse named Abby. Abby attempts to tell the other animals what is happening. Meanwhile, we see a pair of mill donkeys, one younger and one older, chained to a wheel,...

We just got word of yet another guilt-ridden, feel-bad flick from our enemies in Hollyweird, this time a so-called western dubbed “Hostiles. And yes, this is a progressive (as in a politically correct) Western. John Wayne rolls into his grave like a ventilator. The movie can be described as the latest attempt from the leftists in Hollywood to edulcorate and/or falsify America’s history. In case you didn’t notice, movies about the Wild West all but vanished from the 3D silver screens due to Hollywood’s obsession with perceived mysoginism, racism and what have you which is inherent in such a genre....

Best Friend From Heaven sees Kristofferson voice a dead pooch sent back to earth to arrange his owner’s nuptials. It’s a new low for the ‘talking animals’ genre https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1&v=KfD8nLAeMDQ You would think that, by now, people would have stopped making films about talking animals. You would think that, after witnessing the monstrosities that were Andy the Talking Hedgehog, A Talking Cat!?! and Kevin Spacey’s Nine Lives, producers would run a giddy mile from such a flat-out dismal genre. And yet. Not only is there a new contender in town, but it might be the most inexplicable of them all. The...

Andy Dick has been fired off the set of the upcoming comedy film “Raising Buchanan” following allegations of sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior. Two sources with knowledge of the situation told The Hollywood Reporter that Mr. Dick was accused of groping people’s genitals, unwanted kissing and licking and making sexual advances on at least four members of the production. The actor confirmed he was fired from the film and admitted to some inappropriate behavior like licking and making advances, but denied that he groped anyone, THR reported. “I don’t grope people anymore. I don’t expose myself anymore,” Mr. Dick told...

I saw the movie at an afternoon showing at the Harkins Theater in Yuma, Arizona on 28 October, 2017. I knew the movie dealt with theme of a prominent atheist converting to Christianity. The movie is not an action packed drama, so well loved of Hollywood of late. It deals in personal interrelations and faith. I suppose you you could say it is a "chick flick". The opening scene, where the main protagonist "debates" with a Christian academic, is powerful, because it shows the primary value left to secularists: hedonism. I suspect many will be able to relate to...

The incident happened last week in the town of Crawfordsville when police responded to a 911 call about a robbery at Backstep Brewery on North Green Street, according to KTLA sister station WXIN in Indianapolis. The caller told dispatchers that a man in a ski mask entered the bar with a gun. Sgt. Matt Schroeter arrived at the location and saw a man in a ski mask backing out the door. He appeared to be holding a weapon. The “robber” was actually actor Jim Duff, who was filming a scene for a movie. But Schroeter didn’t know that. “Drop the...

Note: If you plan on seeing the movie (heaven forbid), please note that there are SPOILERS in the following story Modern art has come to a bizarre stage: anything, literally anything, can be justified for the sake of it. When a film, that reviewers claim is based on biblical allegory, showcases graphic cannibalism and torture porn, you can bet the liberal media will cheer. Mother!, a film starring Jennifer Lawrence (yes, that one, the one that said Mother Nature’s rage was coming for Trump), is outraging normal audiences everywhere, and even triggering the feminists, with its gore and bizarre references...
